What happened to Christmas?
I think we had it but no pictures to prove it, just dirty dishes. I was so sick that day physically and emotionally. I could not join the family for our tradition breakfast. Nothing went right the rest of the day. Miss Molly and Bridget did not even have their baths and did not wear their Christmas collars. I even forgot Miss Molly's birthday in December, she is now four. I suppose that I gave up, I didn't buy gifts, send out cards or go to church. I also am not on my trip fot Florida. The grandson is now separated and of course does not have the baby. It has been hard on the whole family. His gifts stayed under the tree. Yes I was able to put up a tree with his help. Lights came on it, put an angel on top and some large angels on the body of the tree, it was very pretty. My tree is always angels. This has been the worst year of my life, 2006 has to be better. Thanks for letting me say all this. Happy New Year---

Re: What happened to Christmas?
Ruth, 2006 will be better - just stay connected to us and we'll help you along the way.
It's hard to think we always have to do all the Christmas things that are expected of us. You do what you can and what you feel like and that is good enough!
Hang in there - and give the puppers extra hugs and kisses - they are the best medicine!

Re: What happened to Christmas?
Dear Ruth, what a very hard time you have had to suffer. This first Christmas on your own had to be hard enough, without other losses too. My thoughts are with you. Life will get better. Love from Maureen, Hamish and Maddie xxx

Re: What happened to Christmas?
I certainly hope brighter days are ahead for you, Ruth. It has been a very demanding year at best... Wishing you well...spirit soul and body... Don't let that mean ole depression rob more from you! You have a lot of living yet to do...good living! Hugs, Nancy :)

Re: What happened to Christmas?
Ruth, there are times when life just feels rotten but we get through with the help of good friends and you know there are many here.
Have you seen Mackintosh's puppy photos? I'm sure they'll bring a smile to your face along with Dakota's pics.
I hope 2006 is a better year for all those who have gone through tough times. It seems there have been so many here, losses of family and furkids, illness and troubles, but we will, as a family, get through.
hugs, Theo, Casey and Cedric xox

For Ruth and all TCers
F is for fantastic, the way you'll always feel R is for reliable, now that's a great deal I is for independence, cause we're all so unique E is for equal, in all we do and speak N is for necessary, cause life without friends Does not supply the soul with a purpose to our end S is for support, friends always do you know H is for happiness when the friendships grow I is for ideas, we share them with each other P is for the privilege of knowing one another.
Love to all, T&C-Boys xox
