You ready?

This city is located in the smallest state with the longest name an island which was originally named Aquidneck by the Indians and later given a Dutch name meaning red or possibly after a Greek Island whose shape the island resembles.

Many wealthy Victorians built their summer mansions here in the Gilded Age.

In the summer it is home to Jazz and Folk festivals and it has a long history dating back to 1639 and was home to a battle during the Revolutionary War.

Yes we may be small but we indeed are a state. One of the original 13 colonies but the last one to ratify the Constitution with a long and radical history.

You're the closest. Here are more clues:

Look for the tennis hall of fame, take a walk above the ocean on the cliff walk and visit the first synagogue in the USA. Music festivals, such as the Jazz and Folk Festivals and a Music Festival are all major events drawing thousands to this city every summer.

The city has a total area of 29.7 km˛ (11.5 mi˛). 20.6 km˛ (7.9 mi˛) of it is land and 9.2 km˛ (3.5 mi˛) of it is water. The total area is 30.86% water.

The longest suspension bridge in New England, connects it to neighboring Conanicut Island across the East Passage of the Narragansett Bay.

You'll find me hanging out with the Astor family at their mansion called Beechwood. Are you one of the 200 club?
