I'm on a new journey
Hi TC members, my name is Susie.
No you don't know me but you will very soon, or at least know about me.
See I'm on a new journey, sort of scary but I will soon find a home and be loved again.
My mom who had Westies all her life got me when I was a puppy four years ago.
I was happy, I was loved by my mom but my pop, well he didn't really care,
But then something happened, a new little person came along.
I didn't know what to do, just all at once he was there, they said they adopted him.
Me I was sort of left alone, not really understanding what was happening.
I was not used to having someone my size keep food from me.
So I snapped, I was just trying to get some of the food he had in his hand.
Well soon I was kept from the family, I could not be anywhere the baby was or even spend a lot of time with my mom.
I was used to having this big house to play in, to run around and take lots of walks.
But after I snapped gates were put up and I could not join the family anymore.
Then my pop said I had to go, so I am on my way.
Can you give me some ideas as to what direction I should go first?
If you can get me started I bet I can find someone to help me.
I can only say that so far I am starting out in the state of PA.

This being on the road is kind of fun, but I did forget to add I have a TC member doing my writing for me, see I'm only 4 years old.
I stopped along the way to see what those funny looking birds were, never saw them before.
They sure do look funny when they walk, sort of wobble and have a very big flat yellow beak, don't think I'll get to close to that thing.
Can someone tell me what this bird is called?

Sounds to me that your mom and pop need an education. You sound like a real sweetie.
Your mom and pop should never had let the baby have food and be at a level where you would be tempted to sneak a taste.
You did what came natural to you. Even my mom and dad will not have food or treats where I will be tempted. If they eat anywhere other than the dinning room table, it means that Max and I will be getting a treat as well.
Good luck in your adventure and I hope like me you find a great forever home.

Not just yet, but I did do a big sniff and I got a warm and fuzzie feeling, so it's out there I just have to find it.
Now where to next?
But first does anyone know what those birds were, when they talked it sounded like they were saying quack?

I'm guessing you have seen ducks or maybe geese. I was interested that you are in PA. I think I might be going there next week. Actually, I might be moving there soon. I don't know yet, we are waiting to hear about a new job.

Hi Susie! We are in PA. You could start with us! We don't have any little two leggers to worry about. You'd have fun at our house. Do you know if you're heading North or South? Maybe we could ask Mommy to help drive you where you are going.

Susie, I am so glad you have a tc guardian angel helping you on your journey. That bridge looks to me like it is in the Pittsburgh area. Are Auntie Eve and the sisters helping you? I know you are safe if that is true.
I live the whole way across the state. If you are heading east be sure to stop and say hello. And,, I do hope your journey leads you to a a wonderful forever home.

Oh Susie you are a cutie pie for sure. I must admit that when I saw that Nascar driver with that red car and scary mask I thought it was a halloween photo. I was scared for sure!!!!

Yes I'm staying with the "sisters"
And here is that Tillie who has been trying to push my buttons.
Mom stops Tillie but is watching me very close to see how I handle it because my new "little sister" is a yorkie but a larger yorkie.
Mom is a little worried because I am a big girl, she wants to weigh me because the vet papers say 28 pounds, mom can't see how that can be.
She hopes it works out because my new mom works with my foster pop.
If I'm too big or we don't hit it off there is a lady in Ohio that would love to have another Westie girl.
So you see I will be going to a home with no young children and I will be loved.
Nose kisses to all.

I didn't see that.
Tillie doesn't really bite, but will try and hold Phoenix's tail.
She has done this from the start.
If Phoenix is in front of Tillie, Tillie will grab Phoenix's tail and pull her back.
Sometimes Phoenix will tell her to stop other times Phoenix just stands there while Tillie holds her tail.
Never saw other dogs do this.

Where did Susie live before? She looks so much like Holly! They could be sisters! Holly had a sister and a brother in her litter and I wish we had all three. LOL Bless you for helping this sweet little girl!
