Oklahoma Westie Rescue
Hi gang
Saturday my family went and got together with our new friends from OWR at Petco. We did a 2 hour shift. I got to meet about 8 new westies and have a new scotty friend as well. I borrowed dads camera and snapped a few shots.
The first one is of mom and some of our other new friends in OWR, both 2 legged and 4 legged. Can you guess which one is my mom.

The scotty is named jagger and next to him was benji, right behind benji is barclay and in the very back is Belle she is shy.

All went great, we were the centers of attention and then can the puppies. Don't worry in this picture they are only in their traveling crates, they had a nice separate large pen to play in. While I was there a young dog named Donovan was taken to his new forever home by his new mom.

Me too I want a little girl. You like to take them all home but that is impossible but a small girlie would be so nice.

Jagger the Scottie looks like he is a sweetheart!
The puppies are adorable of course.

Jagger runs the pen when it is set up. He is real nice little gentleman, when people come by he calls out to them to come see the dogs and puppies that are up for adoption. once the people come over our moms and dads explain what Westie Rescue is all about and how they can arrange for adoption. He also is there so people can see the difference between scotties and westies.
I don't understand how people get confused - It is as clear as Black and White. HAHAHAHA
Sorry, I couldn't help myself.
As for the little scene stealers. Two of them who were not there are set for adoption. Several people are interested but havn't decided on which puppy they want.

I can't believe that no one adopted the puppies. If I would have been there at least one would have come home with me.

I am not sure of the final details of the day. We were there for only the first 2 hours as mom and dad had to get ready for a wedding. The OWR was there all day. Even if there were people who wanted to adopt the puppies. They would have had to go thru that adoption process. It took 2 weeks for mom and dad to get approved to adopt me.

How nice - we never see Westies or Cairns at the PetSmart rescue days around here. That would have been very dangerous for me to see - I may have had to fill out the adoption paperwork as soon as I saw those Westie puppies!!
