Heres mud on your paws
Darn, darn, darn
Dad figured out another of my secrets. Let me explain, everyone knows that we lovely little white dogs love to get dirty and if mud can be involed so much the better.
For the past day or so I have surprising mom and dad by coming in all muddy. The strange part is that we havn't had any rain and dad doesn't let me out for at least an hour after he waters the plants.
Well today he figured out that even after he has watered and hangs the hose up on it hook, there is still plenty of water in the hose and if you pull down the open end lots of water comes out. I happen to have this great hole I lay in to keep cool and it is right by the hose hanger.
So take one hose full of water, a smart little furkid, and one great hole and what do you get a great mud puddle to play in. It is a pity the mud hole is closed.

Bailey... did Dad close your mud hole off?? Bad Daddy LOL
Maybe you can convince him to put lots of sand there so you can have a great place for cooling off when it's hot. I (Casey) have a few (quite a few LOL) holes under the deck where I love to lay in the heat of the day. I know, I know, mud is much more fun, but ya gotta think of Mom's housework load too heheheheee

Bailey's dad here. I closed bailey's mud hole to keep him from having too many bath's. He still has his hole it is just a dry one now.
P.S. What my little bailey didn't say was that I got him a small simming pool to cool off in.

Our Border Collie used to do exactly the same thing Bailey! He also preferred a damp hole, but would dig a dry hole too. It never did any good to fill it in because he would just redig.
