Mr. Willie, just the sight of you makes me smile! You are such a cutie pie and quite the model too.
I had my post op visit today, and the pathology report confirmed that I have early stages of Ductal Carcinoma In Situ, so that means back to the radiation department for me. The good doctor thinks she may have to go in again and take a little more because of margins not being big enough. Next week I will meet with her again with the breast radialogist and they will tell me more. She mentioned 6 more weeks, or the possibilty of a 5 day approach where you have 2 treatments a day. The good news is they aren't messing with any lymph nodes because they feel there has been no sign of the bad cells traveling outside the ducts. I am healing well, and feel good.
I am putting Rags on the porch to await the mailman. You are a sparkler Mr Willie, are you coming to my house?

FGM oh dear my eyes droop a little lower at this news.Good it is getting caught early and treatment is soon starting.Keeping prayers coming from us to you dear brave lady.

Well, not exactly the news we were hoping for but thank goodness it's in the early stages. It sucks you have to go through more treatment. But we'll do our best to keep you amused during this go, right gang???

Geez, Barb! We have been thinking of you a lot lately. I just think it SUCKS OUT LOUD that you have to be going thru all of this. Man, oh man!
But we are with you all the way and won't stop until this ugly beast is conquered.
