Meet & greet con't
I am Earth Dogge Mulligan, MDFB (medical dogtor feel betterology). But you can call me ED. I'm a cairn, about oh, 8 years old. I'm a used dog, and dang proud of it. I chase tree rats and prefer my cats tartar. (Don't need to cook 'em, just stick 'em in a bun and hand 'em here.) I write a few ditties here and there, mostly about dollface (my person) and our nutty family (Jugbob and Harriett). I share the house with Ambitious, the snappinese (snapping turtle-pekingese mix), who also came a used dog place, although she was just a pup when my family got her. I have a great life now after a rocky start. I'm a handsome devil, don'tcha think?!

Penny and Katy

Re: Meet & greet con't
We are Penny and Katy, members number 1 and 2 in the Terrier Club. Dad tells us that we are his inspiration for all the time he spends working on this website, but we know he's just slightly nuts
Anyway, we invaded the house as mere pups in 1994 and were born just 2 months apart. That means we're now 13 years old, but we can still zoom with the best of 'em!
Amazingly, after all these years jockeying for position as the "alpha" dog, we still haven't decided who is really the boss. (It's certainly not mom or dad, of course.)
We are inseparable, but also have very different personalities. Penny has that true terrier tenacity and does everything at maximum speed, much to Katy's dismay as she is a gentle soul with a contemplative outlook. Which is not to say that Katy will give an inch if Penny gets too pesky. Katy has put the little Tasmanian devil in her place once or twice!
Mark and Evelyn are our mom and dad. Mom was a computer scientist for Xerox and got to retire way back in 1992 as a very young pup herself. She loves to knit and crochet and even teaches classes on the side. How's that for a career change?!
Dad is a physicist who used to design computers, medical devices, and other stuff, and then ran a company as CEO for years. He recently sold the company and now works at home (hurray for us!) as a consultant.
We get spoiled by mom and dad, who are real suckers for Cairns and Westies!

We have a red wagon that we like to ride in and go to Festivals in it every chance we get. letting kiddies pet us and some adults hug us cuz they miss their Westies of past years. we love to make smiles.
We have lots of apple trees at R place. here we R in the orchard with Ralph the big boy who watches out for us. R names R: Rudy is 7 years Rocky is almost 7 years Rose who is 8 or 10 years Rainey is soon 5 years
Big Ralphy is 6
all these apples have us thinking of a business venture. red wagon apple cider. load em up and head to the Farmers Market.
Nice to meet you new members and hello to the ones we've known for 7 years.

Re: Meet & greet con't
Hmmmm wonder how mom missed this! I'm Gracie, another east Coast Westie from beautiful southern New England: Connecticut. I just turned 1 and my "gotcha" day is next Friday! My mom is a Science teacher and poppa owns his own Cafe. He hopes to sell it and retire soon so he can be my very own stay at home Westie dad. As it is, I am rarely alone because poppa will take me everywhere with him (if he can). I go on lot's of walkies with my other dog pals. We usually do 3 miles a day. Usually more in the winter and a bit less in the summer (it's hard to walk in that heat). I have a big yard with no fence so I have a 50 ft lead. Sometimes I get to run around and chase the rabbits and squirrlies. Mostly, it's during the day when all the other dog owners are at work and my pals are inside. Being the loving, social butterfly that I am, I'll take off for parts unknown but they always find me. They say I am very sweet and everyone loves me. Mom and pop say I'm the bestest thing they have done in a long time. We all love each other very much. Here I am chillin in the yard wishing mom never had to go back to school.

Re: Meet & greet con't
We're the "Westies Rule" boys from Ontario, Canada. Our human siblings are all grow'd up and Kim our Mom, runs a daycare out of our home and fosters for Westie Rescue Canada. Our Dad....the big "ka-hoo-na" we call him is Pat and he's a mechanic.
Charlie, our rescued 8 yr old is the oldest of the gang (no scarfe) and the most independent...he's not much of a team player but he's sure the Alpha. He sniffs and explores for hours on end.
Sadler (red scarfe) is also a rescue, turning 4 yrs next month. Although he has much baggage from a previous life of abuse, he's a wonderful little dog, full of life and loves to play!
Austin (rambo scarfe), 4 yrs old is a rescue that Mom placed with family friends. He's what we would call 'hyper louie'....zooming around all the time - he comes for doggie daycare.
Benny (on the couch) is our little foster that Mom has been nursing back to health from a previous life in a puppymill - we just love him and we're hoping Mom & Dad will keep him!

Re: Meet & greet con't
WE ARE - Gracie, Chance, Riley and DooLittle. We had a brudder named Chewy, but he died almost two years ago from liver failure. Mom misses him loads.
Gracie is the ONLIEST girl in the pack and the queen bee and boss.
Riley is the oldest Yorkie boy.
Chance is a WRM alumni - born in a puppymill, sold to a petstore, taken to be euthanized cuz he was a waste of money, saved by a smart vet who sent him to live at a shelter for a month and NO ONE CAME TO ADOPT A THREE MONTH OLD WESTIE... soooooooo, mom drove from Illinois to Iowa to get him. He never left.
DooLittle is the youngest Yorkie boy. He came to the family after Chewy died - Mom named him Dr. DooLittle, Healer of Hearts... cuz he was and she calls him Doo for short.
We live in Illinois and help mom take care of lost Westies without homes and families.

Re: Meet & greet con't
Hi, I'm MacDougal or Mac for short. I will be 14 on Sept.4 and I live with my mom and dad in Alabama. I have a kitty sister named Miss Priss that we adopted last year. I also have a godmother that lives across the street that always takes care of me when my parents go out of town and can't take me. I even have my own toys and dishes at her house. I'm still pretty spry for an old man, I play most every night and try to keep everyone in line (including the cat).
Hugs, MacDougal and Rebecca

Re: Meet & greet con't
We are Sonny and Cayla. We live in southern Florida. We have a stay at home mom and our dad works mostly from the house.
Cayla came to live with us the day after my Duncan went to the RB. Our mom already had made an appointment with the breeder for that day since she thought that having a companion would make Duncan feel better since he started going downhill after his Golden/Chow sister went to the RB. Unfortunately, Cayla never met Duncan. Sonny came about three weeks later when the breeder gave him to my mom since he did not have a home of his own. Our mom did not change his name because after being the fourth home in two years she wanted him to keep something that was his.

Re: Meet & greet con't
Hi we're Bonnie and Flora, 4 year old sisters, who live in Christchurch, New Zealand. Our mum is a teacher, but at present while she's away all day we have other people living in the house so we get to play out in the garden all day. Also playing with us are mum's 4 year old granddaughter (yes, lots of 4 year old girlies in this house) and the Dash cat who is our friend as mum trained us all to get on together.

Here I am!
Hi - my name is Booker C. McDuff. I've been a TC member since 1998 or 1999....can't remember. I was adopted at age 6. My mom and I live in Eden Prairie, MN - a Mpls suburb. I have a C-A-T brother whose name is Hobart T. Harris - I helped raise him and I'm still a tattle-tail! heehee..... Mom and I keep real busy with all sorts of Westie things. We help with Scottie and Westie rescue and mom fancies herself as the Westie Social Director of the Twin Cities! She manages an email list of over 300 Westie people. Right now we are organizing our annual participation in the James J. Hill Days parade where we will have 100 Westies marching down the street. We put our Senior Royalty and Senior Westies in convertibles. Since I am now considered a Senior at age 15, I will be riding in a convertible this year. With age comes privilege!
We have met some wonderful people through the Terrier Club - many in person. Through my cyber romance with Miss Margaret (who is now at the Rainbow Bridge) my mom met her dear friend Lee from Australia. We have also met many Midwest members through rescue work and at the Black and White Fun Fest in Omaha. I even got to meet my special Auntie Fran (RGang's mom) when she came to Minnesota last year!
I may be old, but I'm a busy guy!
Booker
