Our Coast Adventure
We couldn't stand to be left behind, so we nibbled a bit of "shrink weed" and joined mom and dad on their coast adventure. Here is a lighthouse on the Washington coast by the mouth of the Columbia. We got rained on - as usual.

Played with the toys while mom checked out the gift shop. Couldn't hardly get Buster off the thing! We almost didn't get back in mom's pocket in time.

Off to the waterfront. What are all these white things? Mom said something about oyster shells - whatever that is.

Of course we had to play in the water. But we heard barking - coming from the water. Buster got all bristley and jumped in and I joined him, ready to take on all comers, but we couldn't find any dogs. Mom said "Oh, look, seals"! What are seals?

The next day we went with mom to a bonsai garden. Poor mom tries to grow these little trees, but has a lot of trouble. She met the owner and trainer of the little trees and got some great tips. Yawn - boring!! We played in the trees and had a great time. We had to come home that afternoon. Its a 7 -8 hr drive from the coast to our house and we are tired. Hope you like our latest adventure. We sure did!

I loved seeing your pictures of the lighthouses and hearing about the coast. I really enjoy seeing pictures of other parts of the country. It sounds like you had a lot of fun, and so did Fiona and Buster. :) Thanks for sharing.
