Peering through the window was, Mr Thomas (aka Tom) Turkey. As they watched Mr. Turkey limped away dragging one wing. The westies huddled together and ..... 

The flying turkeys carried poor Tom to safety to nurse his wing back to health.  The poor westies couldn't believe they lost Tom before Dr. Roo was in Da house!

You will have to appear before the great Gobbler. The westies moved to the edge to the pine grove and peered down the lone path that would take them to the castle. Our group of adventurers started off down the path in single file with Maxwell leading the way and Bailey bringing to the rear. It didn’t take them long realize that this was more than just a grove of pine trees, but was really a large dense forest. The deeper they went the closer the tree became until it appeared that they were traveling in dark twilight instead of midday.  As they continued on they chatted among themselves. At one point Maxwell called them to halt, just before them the forest opened up into circular grassy area with a small bubbling spring in the center. It was very strange that after such a long walk they would find this one place with the sun shining through. Carefully, one by one they moved out onto the grass. It was the softest grass that any of them had ever placed a paw on. Bailey thought that this would be a good place to take a break and rest a bit. Dr. Roo, went and checked out the spring, finding the water both cold, sweet, and strangely invigorating. As they explored, one by one they each found a flat rock to sit on. Once they all were seated they came realize that they were sitting in a perfect circle and that there had been just enough flat rocks for each of them.

As the group chatted away Maxwell ear perked up and he listened real heard and came to realized……
