International Selkirk Loop
A few weeks ago we toured the scenic International Selkirk Loop which goes thru Washington state, Idaho and British Columbia, Canada and it was so beautiful there. I thought you might enjoy seeing some of the pictures. This is the bed and breakfast we stayed in while we visited British Columbia.

Re: International Selkirk Loop
This is Mika. She's a cross between an Australian Shepherd and a Wolfhound and the sweetest dog. I was missing Lily Belle so much and I gave her lots of attention. She went walking with us thru the woods surrounding the house.

Re: International Selkirk Loop
This is Lucy, Mika's sister. I gave her lots of attention and belly rubs too. We saw a of dogs in the towns of British Columbia. It's seems very dog friendly there. While we were walking in downtown Nelson, British Columbia we saw two cairns, a westie, a dalmatian and a very large, sweet mixed breed dog within just and hour or two. I was about to pet most of the dogs and I enjoyed chatting with the owners. I always asked before petting the dogs though.

This was taken near Bonners Ferry, Idaho. We stopped to go hiking in this beautiful place but changed our minds after we saw a sign that warned about grizzlies.

Beautiful pictures from your beautiful trip. It's great that there were so many dogs in BC and that you got to stop and chat with the owners.

Beautiful scenery! It sounds like you had a great trip and even made some 4 legged friends along the way! I absolutley love wolfhounds--one of the gentlest dogs you'll ever run across!

Just a few hours north of us. Beautiful scenery, much like here. Thanks for sharing. Glad you didn't meet any grizzlies. They are cranky!
