starting the new year is a disaster Vote for this post

What a terrible day first day of the new year.
I had trouble with my computer about security and that is so important. I had to get help so they could fix it on my computer remote. It took a very long time to get it fixed.
Boy that took forever and than my mouse quit working.
I changed the batteries and it still is not working so I now am using a old mouse that is in  a USB. Hate it because the cold lays right on my desk.
Seeing double too real bad and I still had to check on the web for Richards medication.
I could not get in I had to restart over again and finally called. I was unable to put in the year I was born so I was stuck and I needed to make sure they refill it Richard medication because  it is bad if he skips when you are Bipolar or manic depressant .Still do not know if it is the same our not.
Some days I want to pack my suitcase having to do everything in my shape but I know Richard can not take care of Moshe & Levi and I can't live without them. They truly  are my loves. All I hope that this will not happen again  soon our I go crazy. I used to be able to do everything and now in my shape I will have to get help. Guess miss independent I no longer. I am the tech in the house I set everything up but getting older and no longer seeing well sure has changed me.
Sorry about this post but I had to get it out. Please forgive,
Happy New year I sure hope your day is better than mine.
 Yoka

The computer is doing much better but had a bad night. It turned cold  and the boys woke me several times. We are not used to cold weather so I added an other blanket.
Had plans tp go to serivice but never made it am too tired.
at least my mood is much better I just skyped my sister in-law and brother.
 You take care David.
Today is better than yesterday for sure.

The PC is working fine and we hope we get the medication for Richard soon.
Was seeing double bad this morning and was so tired  the Moshe woke me up several time.so I never made it for the services.
Sometimes when you have plans it does not work out.
Am having a lazy day to day and am enjoying it I just finished talking to my brother and my sister in-law who live in the Netherlands. We use skype and can see each other.  So that made it a great day so far.
 Have a geat week Annie.

Bless your heart Yoka, it's Murphy's Law--what can go wrong will go wrong. Praying for better days ahead for all of you. I know how frustrating it is when the computer's acting up and I've threatened to take a sledge hammer to mine a time or two! :)

Yoka please know we are all here for you. You can only solve one problem at a time and when they gang up on you it doesn't seem fair.
Hang in there and maybe tomorrow the sun will come out and things will be better.

Yoka,
My Mom is 87 and has to go online to manage her prescriptions and set up the auto refills.  If she choses to have them refilled the old fashion way, it costs more.  The program is a wonderful benefit however:
1. You have to remember the passcode and user id which needs to be changed every so often
2. The list of auto refilled meds is not complete so is confusing
3. They make regular updates to the program which changes how it looks and she has to start from scratch to know what to do once on the site.

I spent about an hour yesterday trying to figure out her passcode/user id, figure out what meds she is currently taking off a list of everything she has taken in the past couple years and trying to put the ones she needs auto refills on the auto refill list.   VERY aggravating and confusing to me and impossible for her to figure out.  WIth your double vision it would make it much more troublesome.

Wishing you a much better New Year than yesterday!

That is amazing that your that your mother still goes online at her age. I sure hope I be around at that age and able to stay the tech in the home. That is truly amazing that your Mom can go online. She must be a very smart lady.
We tried auto refills too but they send it way too early I order for my husband account and my account. Have 2 different pass words but it is easy to remember.
I prefer to write all of the passwords down on paper just in case  in case I forget. The paper is in a save place and it is not written down all the way. I use Hebrew often for pass words. LOL. I could never remember them all but the ones I use often I remember. We can use a pharmacy but the prices are more expensive  and they only give you for 30 days the medications so we order on line.
Hope my computer last a few more years but I could order on a iPad too.
No wonder that you was frustrated too . I keep getting emails that they received it and than emails they send it but they only give you the RX numbers instead of the names of the medication. My husband is on a lot of medications and who can remember all the numbers what medication it is. I asked before please show for who the medication it is for Richard our me.They did it a few times and than it changed again. Sometimes I call it in when I see double and use a magnifying glass to see the numbers. It sure makes me feel old when I have to do that.
Today was a good day so far.
Take care and Happy New year .
  Thanks for your reply Elliot.
Love,Moshe,Levi and Yoka

Not sure which Windows version you're using, but there is a Magnifier built in to Win 7.  Start button> All Programs>Accessories>Ease of Access> Magnifier.  Just drag the symbol to your Taskbar and it will be available any time you need it.  Not sure if you'll like it or not, it can go really big, but it makes the pixels so big the letters & numbers look rough if you go over 400%.

Something I also noticed it, I use Firefox for a browser instead of Internet Explorer, and Firefox seems to display print larger than IE, plus it seems to "even out" postings of different sized print.

Yoka, so sorry to hear.  Nothing is more frustrating than computer issues, especially if your vision is giving you trouble.

We all have so many passwords to remember these days, that it's just about impossible!

Hoping you got all of the bad stuff out of the way early this new year, and that from now on, things improve!

Thanks Sherrie to day is a good day.
I used Skype to talk to my sister in law and my brother who is 80 years. It was wonderful to  see him  He is not well either. They first thought he had Parkinson but later they did more test and it is related
to Lou Gerrit's disease. It was wonderful to talk to him a little bit. He has days he does not talk much it is hard for him. He was the biggest book worm but no longer can do that. His wife takes very good care of him and for 3 days a week he is in a group. They play pool and play pool etc.
So glad that he is well taken care of.
The computer is running well and one of these days I will have to buy a remote mouse again.
Wishing you a happy healthy New  Year with your pups.
Love, Yoka
