Matilda & Izabella Vote for this post

I've been trying all morning to upload a video of the girls playing as it's hard to get a photo of them when they are moving around so quickly.

They are getting on really well. The first 2 days Izabella looked a little intimidated but now she charges @ Matilda full force.

This morning when I went to find her I couldn't see her @ first she usually is waiting at the puppy gate but she was under her snuggle puppy in her bed. It was a bit cooler last night. Matilda is a little confused as up until Tuesday she was sleeping in the laundry but I found the puppy pen in the kitchen too cumbersome had to keep moving it to open the cupboard, pantry and to get to the sink or stove. Matilda now sleeps in the living room and Izzy's in the laundry.

Tomorrow Maddie is going to be groomed along with Foster (Mum's Westie boy) but Izabella will be staying home as 4 hours is too long for her in the car especially as she isn't fully immunized so I can't take her for a walk.

They certainly play hard, during the day I leave her in the laundry, she can still see Maddie thru the puppy gate. Every time Izzy makes a noise Maddie goes running out to her. Once I get home I get her out and they play solidly until Izzy crashes around 9pm.

What a cute picture Diana
It sounds like Izzy and Matilda will be good playmates and friends
For some reason Sailor doesn't play with other dogs
All he is interested in is exploring and sniffing everything he can

Thanks. I think it helps too that Maddie is only fairly young (she was 1 at the end of July). They both came from the same breeder, Maddie's sister (from an earlier litter) is Izzy's Mum. They are both quite similar in that they both like to play and keep going till they are tired. Maddie is actually really patient with her.

Awwww....such a sweet picture of them together Diana..voted this for IOW. Smiles for me seeing Izzy with her 12:00 tail up high..her little face melts my heart! Do hope you can add a video sometime so we can see the action between the sisters.
Great to see your update this morning. The way you describe Maddie watching over Izzy made me think back how my Miss Maddie would watch over Willie and Emily.

What a lovely photo Diana, it looks like these two are going to be bestest buds LOL. You are such a good mommy making sure that Izzie is protected from exposure until she is fully vaccinated.

hugs to you and the girls,
Theo

Thank you.

We wore her out before we left and when we got home she was still quite sleepy. My Dad was with her for awhile. Priscilla her breeder said she could have stayed with them while the other 2 were being groomed, she would have loved to have seen her.

Since we've been home she's been playing non stop but is now starting to wind down.

She goes to be stripped on March 5th and Maddie and Foz (Foster) are going along to be groomed that day too. Izzy's brothers and sister will be there too. I'd loved to be a fly on the wall that day. We will drop them off and then go home too long to be hanging around Bittern (not that much to look at down there) and go back later for them. They should be all nice and tired.

Will try again with a video, was having trouble with photobucket yesterday.

Oh my goodness Diana, what a wonderful video the reunion with her littermates would make. Have you got a photo or two of Maddie with her new hair do? Bet she looks real smart.

hugs, Theo

Theo, still can't get videos uploaded on photobucket gets to 90% and then that's it.

I did get a photo of Maddie and one of them both together. Although Maddie refuses to look at the camera, she's a little better with the Iphone.

Thanks, although we can't place all the blame on Izabella as Matilda is a ripper too. She ripped part of the egg carton, she tears paper and both managed to shred a roll of toilet paper on Sunday. Can't drop anything with them around but at least they aren't destructive.
