A crazy 48 hours Vote for this post

I'm having the same problem with the photos

Wow it's been a crazy 48 hours. (Well, actually it's been a crazy 16 months, but anyway...)

So Friday afternoon we said goodbye to my Molly. So many of you posted such wonderful messages, both in response to my final tribute to her, and over the past ~2 months as I wallowed in my sadness about her cancer.

But it's funny how life works sometimes. Whether you believe in heaven, God, Karma, or just life finally cutting us a break in the Riddle household, it was just 12 hours later we were in Steve's truck headed to Massachusetts to pick up this beautiful little girl.

Molly was our Queen. And Allie is now our Princess. We loved Molly with our whole hearts and souls. But the cool thing about love is that your heart has an infinite supply of it. Loving on Allie is healing us in a way nothing else could. Who can be sad when you're snuggling a puppy? And hell - I don't have TIME to be sad, because this girl is a handful. She is a perpetual motion machine, a furry bundle of love and energy, and already the undisputed Princess of our hearts.

Thank you Naomi Brown. It was about 2 months ago I promised you we were a Westie's dream parents,   and hopefully now you believe us.  We love this little girl so much, and now we love you too.

Life is good.  We are happy in the Riddle house tonight.

Oh yeah, and sorry I can't get better photos. She seriously never sits still.   But no worries, I'll be taking like a million so eventually I have to get at least one good shot.

Oh Patti I am so glad Allie is taking away your sadness.
I am sure she is a handful already, like Iver  was as a puppy.

Yep!!!  Nothing like a puppy to keep you on your toes.  I did the same thing about 16 years ago.  My old girl of almost 16 passed away and I got a 10 week old puppy about 5 weeks after.  They keep you hopping and really bring lots of joy and happiness.

Glad to hear Allie is making her presence felt. My 4 (well now 2) were all very different. I find I can enjoy watching these 2 play without feeling guilty for doing so. I still have my sad moments but it would be far worse with no dogs at all.

Look forward to seeing more photos of Allie and following her progress.
