She's doing good Annie--thanks so much for asking! Her operation was on Thursday and they sent her home Friday night--a little too soon for my liking, but that's how they do things these days. She's taking it slow. Her face swells during the night but after she gets up and moving, the swelling goes down. She's taking a lot of naps and building up her strength. The sutures will come out a week from this Thursday and she has plenty of questions for her doctor at that time. She's cut from the top of her forehead (near her temple) to right above her ear. She's already fussing about what to do about the hair they shaved off, so she's getting better. I hope she behaves herself and keeps improving every day! I'll let her know that you're thinking about her and thanks again for asking about her!
Love, Deb, Emmie, and Angel Kelsie

Deb so glad to hear you sister is doing well and was able to come home.  They are sending people home fast these days for sure but patents tend to heal faster and better at home.  Hospitals are not a good place to get any rest.  Love Louise, Caesar and Angel Murphy

I'm glad to hear she is progressing well Deb. With the swelling, could she sleep in a recliner so her head is slightly elevated? I don't know if the doctor would like that idea but it might help with the swelling.

Yes, they sure do like to send us home in a hurry, but that's fine by me, I always had to natter at the nurses to let me go LOL

hugs and healing thought to your sister,
Theo
