Hi Annie, thanks for asking.
No new news on dear Molly.
Thank you everyone for all your good thoughts and prayers
I've heard that it often takes 2 or 3 months for a lost dog to make it home.

Joe and Laurie are praying for the best for Molly Vote for this post Reply to this Message Reply with a quote

Joe and Laurie are worried that Kevin killed her.
When Laurie's two doxys became sick within 4 months of each other
and had to be sent to the Rainbow Bridge, Laurie took them to the vet
but Kevin offered to shoot them to save Laurie some money.
Laurie didn't go for that, but now in retrospect Laurie and Joe are worried
That Kevin just shot Molly and buried her somewhere.
Nasty Kevin

David, I have just read all the posts on Mollie and feel so bad for Joe and Laurie.  Please let them know that I am praying Mollie is soon at home and keeping them both in my thoughts.  Since they have only had Mollie for a little more than a month, I don't know that she would find her way back home so I would keep up the search and also put posters up around the area where Kevin said he released her. Allen's suggestion of showing the kids on the bus her picture was a great idea too.

I know how I would feel in this situation, and I'd be right there with Patti and Jeanie to pull that switch.

Hoping dear Mollie is soon home,
Theo

I can be such a tough woman. I work in a job where I'm often lied to.  (I work in insurance. Most people are honest, but a lot of people will lie through their teeth when there is money involved.) My tolerance for adults who are whiny is very low. I've heard every excuse under the sun from some alleged adults who want to blame everyone in the universe for problems they created.

But in spite of that - or maybe because of it? - I have a huge soft spot for people and animals who are NOT in control of their own destiny. Children, animals, and many elderly folks, are depending upon others to give them a fair treatment in this world.

Stories like this make me feel sick to my stomach. I usually deliberately avoid them because all it does it make me sick and there's nothing I can do.

I'm not kidding when I say I'd pull the switch on people like this. If you can't live in this world without hurting defenseless beings, then in my opinion you don't have a right to exist with the rest of civilized society. I know that is a controversial stance, but there it is.

I absolutely agree with you
There is no place in society for people
who hurt or kill helpless animals and children.
They will burn in hell, that's for sure.
Like I've said before, Washington has tough laws on animal abusers
but I've never talked about people who molest or harm children.
Here in Washington State the class 2 and class 3 offenders
are incarcerated for the rest of their lives in an island prison
in the middle of the Puget Sound.
This has been going on for about 20 years.
Washington State recognized that no matter how much counseling
the class 2 and class 3 offenders received they would always
rape or molest again.
Unfortunately the class 1 offenders are released into public
but thankfully they have to register where they live and are
constantly monitored and visited by the police.
In addition when an offender registers their address
the police mail a warning notice and picture of the offender
to every house within 1/2 mile of the offender.

Patti I'm so sorry you have a job where you sometimes have to see
the worst side of people. Their lies will eventually catch up with them.
Like you I try to avoid stories like Molly's story.
It is just too painful to me to know an animal or child has been hurt
by some immoral bastard.
Thank you for caring about our Molly, Patti
