Oh, poor little chicks and their parents! Hope you can keep the remaining baby safe from all pussycats. I know it's their nature, but jeez....

So sad Anne. I do hope that the last baby bird stays safe from the visiting kitty.Maybe someone here can help with advice to scare the bully kitty off.

This week a robin was trying to build a nest on our flood light, she made many trips all day with scraps of plants and sticks and had two other robins helping her.To no a veal it kept falling apart with the winds. Very determined she was still trying to build up the nest again this weekend.

Poor little babies.

We have a problem with cats in our front yard they poop & pee in the garden and if I don't watch my 2 they will eat it - gross!! There for awhile we were pretty much cat free, we received a letter from the council saying there had been a lot of complaints about cats in the area creating a nuisance and annoying the wildlife, if owners didn't keep their cats inside between the hours of xxxx then they would be fined, it worked well for awhile.

Do you use coffee ?
I found out they hate coffee grounds so I put that out in the front yard. We drink Colombian coffee and grind that to medium. After drinking our coffe I sprinkle THE used coffee ground out. Cats hate it and stays out of your yard.
Just a tip for you.

Thanks for the tip will give it a try. Trouble is my 2 eat cat poop, how gross is that!! I will definitely give what you suggested a try. Izzy is not allowed out the front as she can squeeze out thru the metal railings. Maddie loves to go out the front and check things out.

Poor little babies. Tell your Daddy to remove the nest and hopefully, the robin will find a better place to build a new one--somewhere where it'll be harder for the kitty to find it.
