There is a free product called Irfanview that I absolutely love.
You can resize pictures among other things and save them
in any format you want.
It is a great product.
Irfanview is freeware, no charge to download and use.
I love it.

Here is the website

That sounds perfect I have a Windows 10 lap top a big one. I keep it on my desk.

I get frustrated with it because I did not see all the lessons yet.

Great to know that the software is free David.

Thanks so much I will download it.

You are a nice friend to have.

Have a wonderful day!!!!!!!

Went to the website do you have the 64 or the 32? What in the world are plug ins?

This is like a new language LOL.

I only used Microsoft  software and everything was included. It was easy to use. I saw that you can download and use a zip file to open it. Wonder if I have a zip file on this lap top will look for it because I have used it before on my Vista & XP computers.

Saved the page so I can get back to it after I find out if I have a zip file on this Window 10 laptop.

Thanks so much for your help David.

I have the 64 bit Irfanview, Yoka.
It allows for bigger pictures to be edited.
I don't use the plug ins, I don't even know what they are.
If you get to using Irfanview a lot and want to investigate
the plug ins you can always download them later.

Everything I use on Irfanview is menus on the toolbar
For instance you want to make a picture smaller
then choose the IMAGE menu and a drop down appears
and you find the command to RESIZE/RESAMPLE
and a window opens where you can choose what percentage
of the picture you want to resize to.
The percentage shown is 100% and putting a bigger number
makes the image bigger and putting a smaller number
makes the image smaller.
Play around with Irfanview and tell me how you like it
