That is exciting! I have never seen a real live hedgehog. Right now we have the black beast, Rupee (Blue heeler mix) staying with us. I don't know what she would do if she saw the hedgie. Unlike you terriers, she doesn't have much of a prey drive but she does like to chase bunnies once in awhile when she sees them. We have chipmunks, gray squirrels and rabbits galore. We have had groundhogs pass through the yard and of course skunks. Mishy caught a baby opossum once.

I've not seen one either. It wasn't until we went to London that I saw a squirrel.

Glad you clarified who was in the bucket!! lol

Like your Bro A I just have a stuffy hedgie but he always stays inside by my favorite chair. Now that would be a fun hunt to sniff out a real hedgie. We don't have them here. Hope they stay in the garden and Bro A keep up the good work sounding your bark alarm.

We have seen a Echidna. While out driving on a country road I could see a couple herding something off the road and stopped to see it was an echidna, so nice of them to help the little guy/girl off the road out of harms way. That is the first and only time I've seen one.

I never heard of a echidna so I looked it up also. It is a spiny anteater. Never saw anything like it ever,
