Matilda is unwell Vote for this post

Poor Maddie was a little slow to eat her handful of dried food this morning and when I got home she didn't want her food or even a roo tendon, never known Maddie to refuse either. She got up on the chair with me for awhile and then went and got in her bed which is unusual to say the least. I've covered her over with a blanket, put her jumper on and the heater will cycle on and off during the night. Poor wee lass, her tummy was gurgling and making noises. Checked her gums they look normal. No wrestling tonight. Izabella had an upset tummy a few days ago, not sure why and given they like to eat poop (gross!!) maybe Izzy passed a bug onto Maddie.

A very quiet household tonight. Maddie usually likes to go outside and patrol the yard until it gets dark but this afternoon/tonight no interest in it at all. Hannah would get a tummy bug every now and then.

Hate it when my little lass looks sad. Hopefully she will be much better by tomorrow.

Aw geez Diana, I'm sorry. It always breaks my heart too. Plus then I worry is it the start of something really wrong, or just a passing "yuck"...

I hope she feels better soon!!!

Hopefully, she's feeling much better today. Emmie has that disgusting habit of eating things she shouldn't...Healing prayers being sent your way Maddie.

She hasn't eaten again today but she seems brighter so will wait till tomorrow and see how she goes. I know with Hannah sometimes it took a few days for her to come right. Checked her gums again and they look okay.

Certainly turns my world on it's head when they get sick.

Get well soon, Maddie... It's hard to see them not feeling well. You are staying on top of it and keeping your pups as comfortable as possible.

Thanks to all Maddie seems so much brighter this afternoon, I had a vet appointment for her but cancelled when I got home. She ate most of her tea, the last 2 days she had no real interest and was so un-Maddie like, she would get in her bed and sleep and no rush to greet me, no playing. It was awful. Last night I heard her during the night outside and when I got up this morning I had to clean her up and the decking before going to work. Maybe the bug took a little longer to work thru her system, or that's what I am hoping. So fingers crossed she keeps on feeling better.

Thanks Yoka, yes she has been drinking if she hadn't then I'd have been more worried. It's upsetting to see them sick.

Hope you feel better soon too.
