Thanks for asking. She seems to be slowly getting better, this morning she rushed up and sat next to me on the couch and even played a little with Izzy, she hadn't done that for days. Last night she sat up on the chair with me for ages which is unusual for her she usually gets too warm and jumps off. She's eating a little bit which is good.

Until Hannah I'd never had a dog with gastro before.

They had a little bit of playtime together this afternoon when I got home but nothing compared to their usual wrestle mania workout. Maddie sat up in the chair with me again tonight for quite awhile but then got too warm and got down. I will take them for a wander around the neighbourhood tomorrow and see how she gets on, then if the weather is fine on Sunday we will go for a longer walk.

Is Maddie on special dog food for her colon or stomach? I sure hope she gets back to normal very soon. Our Moshe was on special food but he inhaled his food and I guess that caused the problem. I even bought a bowl with a ring around the middle so he would slow down.
Hope Maddie will return real soon to how she was before she became sick.
Will keep praying for her.
Xxx

Sorry Yoka didn't see your message till now. No special food just cooked chicken and some of her usual dried food. I kept her off vegetables and any treats.

Kelsi had the bowl you were talking about it didn't slow her down much. Izzy is actually very similar she bangs her stainless steel bowl as she eats she is so much of a hurry but unlike Kelsi who used to whine after eating (I think she ate too quickly and got a tummy ache) Izzy doesn't whine.

Thanks Yoka, she took a little longer than I expected to get better but she seems good now.

Until I had Westies I never knew dogs could get gastro.
