Coco is still missing! Vote for this post

My cousin's white Mini Schnauzer, Coco, is still missing in North Carolina. My cousin's dog is still missing. They think someone took her. They hired a bloodhound who traced her to a daycare center some ways away from where they live and the trail went cold. They're making passionate pleas for whoever took her to bring her back home. All of you terriers need to bark the word out until it gets back to her. She's had her adventure. She needs to come home now! Her family is very upset. They miss their Coco very much.

Coco now has floppy ears

I was hoping for some positive news this week. I hope someone hasn't take her for themselves. Is she neutered, how old is she?

I was saying to a lady outside the deli the other day, 'doesn't it worry you leaving her tied up outside while you are inside'', she said I sit at the window and watch but she can't have her eyes on her the entire time, you need to look at the lady taking your order, pay for it etc, she orders food and sits down to eat, so she would have her back to her dog at least part of the time. She's a nice little dog too, begs, high fives etc.

And although it's not related to Coco's disappearance it's something to be very careful about. I never tie my girls up anywhere and if in the car the doors are locked. I don't trust anyone.

I hope they receive some good news soon.

Hope good news comes soon. Sir William is NEVER tied up anywhere. He is always at the end of his leash and the other end on my hand.

Love Sir William ^--^

Oh my, prayers continue for Coco's safe return. How could anyone be so insensitive to take someone's furbaby like that? Don't they realize that it's like losing a child...

How very sad I hope they treat her well and that they find out who took her. It is a nightmare when your beloved Pup was taken.

I never leave ours alone outside.

Hope they find Coco.

Coco is 1 and I assume she's spayed. They are now advertising for a stolen dog.  They are hoping whoever took her did it out of the goodness of their heart and will eventually take Coco to a vet or shelter where the staff can scan her for a microchip. The family has advertised at all the local vets in the area and pet stores and anywhere else someone might take a found dog.

I'm sure the children are especially sad. They longed for a dog for so long before their dad finally admitted he wasn't THAT allergic to dogs. My cousin always had dogs in rural areas and none ever wandered off or were stolen. Her best dog, a Saint Bernard, ( big and drooly but so so sweet) was poisoned accidentally or possibly on purpose.

We were lucky that everyone in the neighborhood knew Mishy and when she escaped, they would bring her home. She did wander off at the beach twice and were were VERY lucky to get her back. No microchips in those days.

As kids my brother had a dog a Smithfield X, he went missing one day never to return. He was such a nice friendly dog we reckon the old B up the road saw him out and about and shot him. He was nasty piece of work, he was a Doctor but as miserly as they came.

Fingers crossed Coco comes home soon to her loving family. Good luck
