The best scissors Vote for this post

I have finally found a pair of scissors to trim hair near Izzy's eyes. In all the years I've had dogs I've never had any issue with trimming the hair near the eye area until NOW!!!

Izzy goes from a cute puppy to Devil incarnate in no time flat. But I think I've found the answer, they are less than 1/2 the size of the scissors I've always used. She didn't object quite so much when I just trimmed her eyes. So maybe in future it won't feel like a battle of wills.

Maddie like Kelsi and Hannah was so easy, didn't matter what scissors I used.

I have a pair too. Sir William has been very calm on the table lately. I used my 10 inch curved on his eyes yesterday.

Love Sir William ^--^

That's the exact pair I use for by the eyes and for "hygienic" trims on the back side.

I'm so lucky that Allie isn't really fazed by any grooming. I can do fur and nail trimming without too much fuss - but wow does she hate getting her teeth brushed. I keep saying we ought to make a video. When she sees the toothbrush come out she hides underneath something - so I have to drag her out, and then basically lay on her and fight her the whole time. You'd think I was trying to kill her! :)

I have several scissors and thinning shears along with a pair of these.which are great for getting the hairs around the eyes and ears. Maddie used to get some fine hairs along the end of the bridge of her nose and these have a flat edge end to get very close and aid to getting a nice clean line.So very useful.

I have never seen a pair like that before. They sure look nice and slim. What brand is that Diana?
We use 2 pair but our groomer does such a great job that I do not do a lot of trimming. I also have one to get for the under coat but have not used it much this year. I used to cut Moshe and Levi to stretch between the groomers appointment.

Millers Forge is the brand.

I could have got a cheaper pair off Ebay but I like quality grooming products for the girls.

It seems to be the practice here when groomed to trim very little near their eye but as the hair seems to almost grow overnight I am always having to trim the hair back.

The girls go to grooming every 10 weeks.
