This quilt top I did by Machine. It are Tumblers.  I had a large amount of different kinds of fabrics some Jewish ,Cats, Dogs etc. My friend in Texas gave me some cat fabrics she no longer wanted. It was very difficult to sew and I did plenty of ripping when the rows was not strait. They gave me novelty fabrics and was perfect for using it. It took me a while to get the hang of it and I made sure the points would match. I still have a lot left of the fabrics. I cut all the pieces by hand that took a long time too and was difficult when you see double with the one eye I have left. so I might make it bigger or make a new lap quilt or baby quilt. I love scrap quilts so am very happy how it turned out. I was standing on a trunk when I took this picture but it was hard to get it all in.

Yes it was a lot of work and the one that I made on the machine was hard to do I had to rip out stacks of tumblers. I cut all the pieces by hand with a rotary cutter. Seeing double made it extra hard but I love creating and learning new things. I finally found out how to do it so that I did not have to do more ripping.
Guess I make another one because I still have a large shoebox full with tumblers.
Picking each piece to see how it will look takes the longest and than pinning it so the points meet. Guess call me picky but I like to do a good job the best I can. Will enjoy enjoy that quilt. How is McGinnis doing?
Hope you are enjoying both your pups.

Thanks Deb for the compliment. I really love learning new things and love quilting materials. It takes me a long time to pick each row. The one I made by machine was hard to do but I finally found out how to do it so that I did not have to rip everything out over and over again. Cutting the pieces was hard too I still see double a lot but do not let me stop trying.
You have a awesome talent too Deb writing. Love what you write and you are so funny. Love what you write that is a real gift you have.
I hope to make some more quilts I cut way too many tumblers so will make a lap quilt with it while I know how to do it right. Lol
Love to Emmie Sue and you,
Yoka and Levi

All the bright colors of the tumblers quilt top. It makes me happy looking at it. Am still thinking of making it larger.Guess I will find out if it is possible.if it is too much work I rather make another one.
I have 2 other quilts cut already for sewing. Also have several UFO's that are quilts that need to be finished.
Now that school is back on I no longer have a lot of time to work on it .Am busy making lesson plans for tomorrow and the next 3 weeks.
Thanks so much for your replies. So glad to read that you like my work.
Love to all,Levi,Angel Moshe and Yoka
