Thunder shirts are go...... (get it) Vote for this post

We had a first bout of fireworks last night and wasn't sure how Maddie and Izabella would react. Last year Maddie was fairly quiet and we stayed in the with the tv turned up. This year they started 10 minutes before schedule so they didn't have their thundershirts on to start with but Maddie was barking and Izabella was copying her so I put them on them and they settled down really well. Next time I will put them on in advance.

Izabella, I think she was only upset because Maddie was barking.

The thunder coats look very nice on Maddie and Izzy. Great news that the coats help with their anxiety for the fireworks.Nice testimonial that it really works.

Great news that they work. I heard from others that it did not work. Levi is great he does not bark with thunder or fire works going off. Moshe would bark.i do not know if Winter will bark with thunder or fire works yet.

We are pleased the Thunder shirts work,we do not use them here as Nimby and Andrew are both fine with fireworks noises and we never get too many of them luckily where we have lived...Hugs Annie and Gang xxxxxxxxxx

I was in 2 minds about whether they would actually work or not as they were quite expensive  but I did find an online store that had them on sale. It definitely settles Maddie down, she seems a little highly strung, Izzy is calmer but Maddie's barking seemed to upset her so I put one on her too. As you know Westies like not to be left out of anything. I just wish they had been around for Kelsi and Hannah, they weren't too bad but I made sure to always stay home with them. The council used to send around notifications of firework evenings to our letter boxes, didn't see one this time.
