Question please? Vote for this post

Do any of you give your pupTransfixes??????
It is heartworm and flea medication in one!
I need it in 2 different strength. From 10 lbs to 20 lbs cost at vet is 121.00.
For Levi 20 Lbs cost 125.76. This is for 6 month. Hope to find a place were it is less expensive. I heard from the vet that Comfortis does not come lower for Winter. Levi or Moshe never had fleas using that but it is very expensive and you can not cur it in pieces.
Any tips anyone please?
Thanks ,
Yoka

Did you try 1 800 pet meds or Dr. Foster and Smith web sites.

You may have to mail the RX in cause some vets will not communicate with them. (like my new one)

Hi Yoka - I've honestly never heard of it so I can't help you. Sorry! I give Allie a monthly chewable for heartworms and I can't for the life of me remember its name.

For fleas and ticks I use Advantix. I hate putting that stuff on her, but I live in tick country and end up pulling a couple off her every month so feel like I have to do everything I can to keep those nasty buggers under control.

Emmie wears a Seresto collar for fleas/ticks (good for 8 months) since ticks are so horrible around here. She takes a chewable-Interceptor, for heartworm. Sorry I can't be of help, but I'm sure someone here will know about it. I agree, Drs Foster & Smith is usually lower priced than a vet's office for any kind of meds.

We never heard of Seresto collar before.
We do not have a lot of ticks here and not the kind that give limes disease but we do have fleas here. Moshe and Levi was both taking Comfortis and as long as we have used it they never had a flea. I hate the topical stuff the fleas are immune to that we tried several ones and I rather pay extra as long as it works. I have a whole month to find it but will keep searching.
Merry Christmas to you and family. Emmie' said picture is adorable.
