Back from the eye specialist Vote for this post

We just got back from the eye specialist.
Examination today revealed continued superficial corneal vascularization extending from dorsal limbus. These vessels are very thin and no corneal ulcers are present, or any other evidence of inflammation. The cause is unknown / idiopathic,so we will continue a topical atopiinflamatory, but reduce this to once daily, and recheck in 3 month.

Winter was shaking in the waiting room and panting. She is so scared if she goes to a new place. She barks when she is scared. I hope in time she will do better if not we might take some classes . She lived in the country on a large piece of land with the breeder and Westies & some horses.
Bless her heart.
Love,Yoka,Levi,Winter and angel Moshe @RB.

Glad to hear there were no ulcers! We will continue to keep Levi in our thoughts and prayers. Hopefully, Winter will calm down as she goes to more and more new places.

We hope over time she will become less nervous in places. Poor Winter starts to shake and pant..I was hoping she do better because it is a smaller place and only one dog was there a small one. Thanks for the prayers Deb.

Thanks David for the prayers we are hoping that this 2017 will be a better year for all of us. So many pups are gone to the rainbow bridge. Just too much sadness.
G-D bless you too David.

Glad to hear the good news. I am sure Winter will become more socialized over time. She's still getting used to her new home and environment. I remember when Levi was shy and scared too.

I do remember those days with Levi. If he saw a big dog in the distance we had to go home. I guess he became real clingy after he ran away and it was very early in the morning before school started. We found him with help from the breeder that lived over 2 hours away. Never forget that day. Now he still clings to me like glue but I can let him loose on the beach now. He stays right next to me.. Winter is not scared but she barks at most dogs and owners. She is doing better but hates vets offices. It will take time I guess.
Happy new year!!!!!!!

I hope Winter finds a magic place like our Faith did. She would shake so bad when we took her places till we took her to the beach. She sat there on a bench ( she always had to sit up off the floor or she would shake with fear) well as we were on the deck looking at the ocean and all at once Faith jumped off the bench onto the deck and ran around barking and waging her tail.
It was the first time we had heard her bark and it was the first time she waged her tail in the months we had her.
She started coming out of her shell after that. So hope you find Winters magic place like we found Faiths.

Lots of continued prayers for Levi  Yoka and hope all will heal on the meds, also Poor Little Winter..its awful to see them shake so much..Nimby is like that at the vets  but never used to be so bad...I think when she started having her anal glands done it made her worse bless her....I hope Winter calms a bit with more on her social side when you take her to different places and she sees more people and dogs I guess ...they just get overwhelmed sometimes and nervous...they cannot speak or say their fears so show it in shakes....I hate the doctors etc and get so frightened and nervous but we can at least speak our fears and know to a certain extent whats going on and where we are....thinking of you all...Hugs Annie and Gang xxxxxxxxx

Hope the meds for Levi's eyes help and you get a good report in three months. He has been such a good brave boy getting those drops everyday.
Aww...it's been a short while Winter has been with you and I hope Winter's shaking will get less in time. My Emily would shake and it took time for the trembles  to get less but she always had some anxiety. She was my Velcro girl, always at my side crying to be held. I wonder if one of those thunder coats could help calm her. Give Levi and Winter a snuggle from us.

Re: Thank you all very much for the Vote for this post Reply to this Message Reply with a quote

wonderful replies.

I was walking this morning twice with Winter & Levi it is a gorgeous day and Winter just loves to walk. She used to bark when she saw another dog that she had not seen before but this morning I told her it was all right and not to bark. To my surprise she did not bark I really believe she will get  a lot better.

She is always the first one to come when I call that they need to be brushed or we are going Walkie's. Winter comes right away and she makes sure she is there first. LOL.

She really is a real big joy.\ to have.

we have the air condition on  it is like Spring today.

Thanks you all very much for your wonderful replies.
