When I go for my walkies I either trot along always or then set into a good canter Ha Ha ....certainly if I am heading homewards for my dinner!!...Bwuvver Andrew mostly trots but he walks as well......he will go into a Canter if he sees sum critter though and when he zooms round the garden...tonight we are wanting to be let oot lots cos we can smell critters in the open fields or maybe passing throo owr gardens....She says Andwew has copied my naughty yappy zooming habits....I dont care I say to mummy cos I enjoying myself....and deep down I know Mummy luvs to see me this way...as a Cairn should be! Mummy says we are like a pair of thugs racing around and barking like Billio....Who is Billio Mummy I do ask!!?....Hugs and kissies Noisy Nimby and Bwuvver A

You keep up teaching your bro Andrew Miss Nimby. Good to have fun barking and zooming the garden.
As for our senior boy Willie..he used to be a trotter. Going at a nice steady pace all the way on his walks but now he takes his walks slow and mostly walks all the way.

Mishy has two speeds: dead stop and full speed ahead. If she was on a leash and didn't want to walk in that direction, she would sit at a dead stop and not move until we turned around. She wasn't big on leash walking. She preferred to go FAST. When chasing squirrels and other critters, she would zoom across the yard. Our yard has been full of squirrels, chipmunks, groundhogs and other critters since she left us for the Rainbow Bridge!

I am into zooming around the yard after those pesky squirrels trying to steal the food out of the birdie feeders!  Love Caesar and Angel Murphy

I have only one speed when I am outside.
I walk slowly and stop every few feet to sniff things.
McGinnis has two speeds. He will walk slowly
exploring things like I do and then sometimes he will zoom off.
And when our Landlady's chihuahua is outside McGinnis
will zoom off chasing her when she starts running.

Maddie likes to go flat out the entire walk. Izabella she has a funny walk she almost bounds along she is always full on.

Nancy the breeder was worried that Winter might not like walking on a lease. Well she was wrong Winter loves her walkies she trots ahead of our Mama unless she sees a pesky kritter. She has a very pair of good eyes. Mama found out that if Levi wears a halter she has to drag him but put the lease on his collar and he walks much better now. Levi has to sniff a lot and mark a lot but that are boys. It is a real pleasure to walk Winter she loves walking.
Love,Levi,Winter,Angel Moshe and Yoka
