A sign from God Vote for this post

When we had to send Boomer to the bridge I asked for a sign he was OK.
That day when I walked Sir William I looked up in the sky and saw an ice crystal rainbow high in the clouds. I knew he was OK.
I did the same thing for Sir William. Right after we let him go I went out to move the car close to the door.
Our new vet office is very small and they have a full service hospital close by.
In the waiting room was a woman with a Westy.
He looked exactly like Boomer when I first got him, He was all shaved down close and a little Westy style head.
I knew Sir William was with Boomer and safe.

Love Allen

Ah, that does my heart good Allen! I really believe that our furbabies keep us close and send us signs when we need them. I've often "felt" Jaimie (our first Westie and my heart dog) lay down beside me in bed on nights when I've gone to bed stressed over the days events or sick. She was the best little nurse I ever had!

Dear Allen - you were always so kind to me when Molly was so sick last year, and I am just crushed that you lost Sir William.

He had such a great long life with you. That probably doesn't help much at all right now. Every time I hear of one of our beautiful puppers here passing on, my first response is grief. We've lost so many that at times the loss of overwhelming.

But then.....slowly.....I feel a small amount gratitude too. Gratitude that everyone here lives in such a good home and knows that they are loved. So many - too many - beautiful furkids never know the touch of a loving hand and the contentment of a good home.

You gave him a good home, and he knew he was loved. That's all any dog ever wants.

I am so sorry for your loss, but thank you for giving him such a good home.

Patti so well said.  We here at the TC love our furkids and give them the best life of love and care we can provide for them.  In return they give us so much more.  Unconditional love and companionship, friendship and acceptance, they help keep us safe and happy.  What more can you ask for in life.  Louie, Caesar and Angel Murphy

Allen, that is so heart warming to hear that  you have had a sign,I will never forget the one we had from Eric and also the Owl  with Emma's passing  over.....it brings comfort, that they somehow  get a message or sign across to us... to know that however far away from us and another world...they are still out there   till we meet up again forever....Big Hugs to you and Donna xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

They never really leave us. They show up in unique ways. I'm so glad you got the sign you were looking for. I fully believe we will see them again one day. That's the definition of Heaven.

I'm not sure why because Phoenix has never looked like Stormie, as you can see below, but the last few weeks I see Stormies walk, I see the tilt of her head, and at times her look in Phoenix's eyes.

Who knows why, but Allen there was a Rainbow low and short like Faith was that appeared over the ocean when the sky was clear while Ed and I were talking about how we missed our girls.
As the Bible says, someday we will understand it all.
