Framed Vote for this post

Had the first one of my graphite drawings (no I didn't draw them) framed this week, the frame looks much nicer than in the photo. I am waiting for the frame for the second one done by a Tasmanian artist to arrive.

Izabella was most interested as you can see. Maddie just barks at the photo not really sure why.

Izabella is good she just sits and watches and the same with videos of dogs or movies with dogs in them, but Maddie is more like Hannah she goes nuts and it makes viewing unpleasant but I am working on it with her.

I wasn't sure what colour frame would work best with a graphite drawing so went online and read an article that recommended a blue frame or a pewter frame. So I used an online frame shop and uploaded the photo and it did look so much better in a blue frame. My 2nd one waiting to be framed is by a Tasmanian artist and it's a larger graphite pic (taken from the same photo of my girls) so I have chosen a pewter frame, waiting for it to arrive. I think it's great the frame shop had a site where you can upload your pic and then try different frames to see which looks best. I never would have chosen a blue frame myself.

It's beautiful Diana and I think you made the wise choice as I don't think the pewter frame would have shown off the picture of the girls so well.

I was stunned how well the photo turned out given I am not a good photographer and Maddie really doesn't like her photo being taken. But I was sitting on the couch that day with my Samsung Tablet and given it doesn't flash maybe that is why when I aimed it at them she didn't run and hide or turn her head.
