Keeley Vote for this post

It is with profound sadness that I have to tell you that Keeley has crossed the Rainbow Bridge.  Last November she had surgery to remove a tumor from her liver.  She went down to 12 lbs.  After her surgery she started to gain weight and was up to her original 18 lbs.
The last three days  she would not eat and went back down to 12 lbs. The Vet felt a mass in her stomach and did not suggest any surgery.  She felt that the cancer had probably traveled to another organ.  I made the decision, hard as it was, to put her out of her misery.  She was a good dog and as such deserved to be without pain.
We spent our last minutes together.  I told her how much I loved her, that I loved her so much that I was willing to let her go.

She is running free now.

Oh Mary, so terribly sad to hear.
I know what deep sorrow you are feeling but I know that Keeley
is in a far better place with our Lord.

Fly free on Angel Wings, Keeley

Oh Mary, I am saddened to hear that another one of our beloved pups has been taken by the big C. I know how hard it was to let Kelsie go and no words will comfort you as you mourn your sweet Keeley. You proved how much you loved her by giving her wings and taking the pain away...We will keep you in our thoughts and prayers. Run free Keeley with all the TC Angels who have gone before you.
Love, Deb, Emmie, and Angel Kelsie

So very sorry Mary to hear of your Keeley crossing the Bridge. She was a very lucky pup to have a Mom who loved her enough to give her her wings...

I know your heart is shattered and our words cannot take away the pain you are feeling with this deep loss, but please know that many of us are shedding tears along with you.

we are here for you in any way that we can help
hugs, Theo and Willie xox
