I miss her so. Vote for this post

Sorry about not being on much, but after Phoenix went to the Rainbow Bridge I felt as if the world was closing in.
We had had our evenings worked out, Tillie was with Ed while he was on the laptop, Phoenix was with me while I watched T.V.
But when Phoenix left us, Tillie wouldn't eat unless Ed put food in her mouth. Even Ed had trouble eating.
Also three of our friends lost their Furkids six months or so before Phoenix.
But Ed helped Tillie to start eating and she in turn is helping us, we can now walk her without her wanting to fight every dog she sees. So take care all of you and hug your Furkids tight.

POW for this picture of Dear Phoenix Eve and our hearts are with you when we know how hard it is,even now I miss all mine and Ellie I still cannot believe has gone so early...only 13..she was soo healthy and fit and Emma our collie ...there was such a special bond...times will never be the same when we lose  them and like you when we had 4 puppers altogether and then 1 and ...then we think...we want them all back and be like it used to be but know we can do nothing about it..but our remaining pupper will see us through..they have that extra special  sense that  its then that we need them  to help us get  through it all but never forget....Just another reason why we love them so much...I guess we all want our youth back and zoom along faster with our puppers as it was...One day it will come back but untill then we get by and know we are being watched over  by our departed ones who want us to be happy still and remember the great times  we all had...just sometimes though its very hard when the loss and heart strings pull again...Please know we are thinking of you Ed and Dear Tillie,we are so pleased they are both eating fine now!!....Hugs and kisses to you all from Annie and Gang xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

What a lovely picture Eve! I know all too well how you are feeling. Every pup I've lost took a chunk of my heart with them and the darndest things will bring back a memory and I'll find myself with tears running down my face...While I miss every one of them, I know in my heart that they are watching down over me, just waiting for the day that we're reunited. I'm so glad that Tillie is eating and isn't fighting with dogs that you meet on your walks. All of you are adjusting and grieving at the same time. My heart and prayers go out to all of you. Stay in touch and let us know how you're doing when you feel you can.
Love, Deb, Emmie, and Angel Kelsie

I understand. We still haven't gotten over losing Mischief and that was over 10 years ago. My dad told me the other day he wants to be buried with a mug we have with her picture on it! These little friends of ours have a certain way of grabbing our hearts and never letting go. It IS hard to imagine Eve and Ed without all the sisters. Faith, Phoenix and Stormie were a part of all our lives too and then of course along came Tillie, who quickly fit in as if she had always been a "sister."  I'm glad Tillie is getting over her loss and helping you too.

Eve,  I know how you feel, times two.  I  had to put my two dogs down within a month.  I miss them every day and sometimes I hear things that make me think they are still with me.

The only thing I said to the Vet was I loved them so much, I was willing to let them go, rather than see them in pain.

We all know the feeling about how much we miss our little ones. I still feel the pain of loosing Boomer and Sir William.

I can still see Boomer at the top of the steps waiting at night for us to go to bed. When the phone rings not hearing Sir William singing to the ring.

They will always be in our hearts and minds and I thank God they are there.

oh Eve, what a sweet picture.  I know how you feel, Buster has been gone since 2012, but I still miss him so much.  I love Robin and Presley with all of my heart, but Buster was very special to me as Phoenix was to you.

god bless

Such a beautiful photo of Phoenix, Eve. Our POW too.

Eve, I know how you feel about missing your Girl.  We lost Sammy last year.  Then on September 6th, this year we lost Willie at age 14 1/2.    My heart is still broken.  The tears always come with thoughts of him.  And yet my heart is not ready for another pup.  So glad you still have Tillie to fill your days.

I think of you so many times and keep you in my Prayers, Eve.

Keeping you, Ed and Tillie in my thoughts as each of you grieve for your Precious Phoenix.  Sending (((Hugs)))--

Jackie, and (Sammy and Willie at Rainbow Bridge)

Happy to read that Tillie is doing well now Eve and Ed. Tillie looks so great in the picture you posted.
I know how hard it is to loose a beloved Pup. Most of us have been through this.
Time is a healer and it takes time.
Hugs and love from all of us!
