Chevy Vote for this post

Our first night went good. I was not sure where he usually sleeps. I tried the crate, he hated it. I put him on the bed with me, loved it. He had to go the bathroom a couple times last nigh, but settled after going out. This morning he ate good. We sitting on the couch and he snuggling next to me. All is good!! I thing the guy who wanted him gone was jealous of him. The mom loved this dog, she cried when she turned him over. Sadly, some men have their manhood questioned when a woman loves a male dog. This happened to a friend of mine. Her husband got rid of her dog. I could not forgive this horrible action.

Glad to hear it's going well. I'd rather get rid of the husband than the dog... Good thing he was surrendered if that's the case, he might have ended up harming the dog.

Oh Linda, he sounds like a real sweetheart! Does this mean you're going to "fail" fostering? LOL Fingers crossed that he's found his new furever home! Thank God I have a hubby who's just as nuts about animals as I am!
Love, Deb, Emmie, and Angel Kelsie

Yes he sounds like a nice little doggie.

Hope he continues to feel at ease in your care.

Bless you, I know you will provide a loving home for Chevy.
Unfortunately it is not just men that get jealous when a pet
loves the spouse more than man.
With Sam, my fiancee just could not accept Sam in bed with us.
And she rarely, rarely showed affection or love for Sam.
So there are just people who get jealous that we can have
love for a pet along with love of them.

When someone can't except a small dog, I think they have a cold spot in their heart and I would not want them around me.
