A New Angel Vote for this post

For those who remember us we want to let you know that our precious Tuffy girl went to the Rainbow Bridge yesterday. Our hearts are broken but we know we did what was best for her after discovering she had lung cancer and was suffering. We adopted Tuffy from Oklahoma Westie Rescue almost 11 years
ago. She was born in an ice storm and was the only survivor of her litter.
Meredith Wallace Butcher and Mike Butcher took her and her mother in and
brought Tuffy back from the brink of death. Mike is the one who gave her the
name Tuffy. She was our sassy, full of attitude, prancing & dancing little
girl who loved to bark. She would dance around a carrot before eating it, climb
into any clothes basket full of clothes and had the cutest Arooo we ever heard.
When she was upset with us for anything, she let us know by laying in front of
us with her back to us. She wasn't happy when we moved to the new house (Westie Manor) and refused to come into the
living room with us for the first week! She did enjoy the large back yard where
she would run with her brother and sisters, bark at the one neighbors cats and
dogs and the other's chickens. She loved to lay in the sun on the back patio.
She would bark and jump for every meal & treat and had the cutest little
skip and run when she was happy. Our house is very quiet now, but we feel very
blessed that this little one was part of our lives. She brought us much joy and
laughter. We plan on planting a Memorial Garden for her in our yard that she
loved. Thank you Oklahoma Westie rescue for rescuing these precious babies.

Oh Joe, we've often wondered how your bunch was doing. We're saddened to hear about Tuffy's passing. It's never easy to let them go, even when we know it's for the best. Thank you so much for sharing the memories with us. They brought a smile among the tears as I know how much you're hurting. There are so many TC Angels...all of them waiting at Rainbow Bridge to show Tuffy the way. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Please don't be strangers. We're here if you need to "talk".
Love, Deb, Emmie, and Angel Kelsie

Joe, I'm so sorry that you and your family have had to help Tuffy cross the Bridge, but you did what you needed to do out of your love for Tuffy.

Your tribute to her shows what a wonderful life she had and how happy she was, may those memories help to soften your pain.

warm hugs, Theo and Willie xox

Joe Ella and Gang, Tuffy is with Jesus now who has completely healed her and restored her youth and will hold her close with love for the day God reunites us with all our family and friends and beloved pets in Heaven where we will run together in love and joy for eternity.
Until then God give you comfort and peace in your loss

I surely do remember Tuffy and when you adopted her. She lived a fuller life in 11 short years than most people do in a lifetime, but I know it still hurts. It seems fitting she was born during an ice storm and left during a bitter cold winter. I'm sure she is ruling over the Rainbow Bridge with the other terrier princesses and queens. My thoughts are with you and the entire family. I know you will miss her very much.

I'm so sorry you had to say goodbye to little Tuffy. We do remember you and your gang. It's hard to let them go. Some day all of us will be together with our fur babies at RB. We will have a TC up there too. Quite a welcoming committee forming.

The photo of Tuffy is beautiful! R gang will see that she gets a ride in their red wagon.
