Must be something in the air
I fell a few hours ago, no warning of any kind, was putting something in the garbage and no warning, I just fell side ways to my right as if I was pushed.. I'm shaky now but I think it's because I'm a bit scared to walk for fear of falling again. But my little 4 legged nurse Tillie came running and had to make sure I let her look me in the eye. She would not let Ed move her till she was sure I could get up with Ed bringing a chair over for me to use to get up.
I have a Dr. appointment tomorrow so please say a prayer for us that have fallen.

Re: Must be something in the air
Oh Eve, looks like we are in the same boat. I didn't hurt myself except for a few bruises and the black eye. I have never had one before and hope never to again. trying to explain it to people is hard.
Hope you have a god drs appointment and nothing is serious. Tillie is a good nurse, just like Presley and robin.
take care.

Re: Must be something in the air
Oh my, praying that you have a good doctor's appointment Eve! My balance is horrid since I started having sciatic pain and sometimes the upper part of my leg goes numb...There's just no explaining how scary it is to be walking along and suddenly its like you stumble. So many people I know have fallen lately, and like you said, it must be something in the air--either that or all my friends are geriatric! :) Take care and let Tillie comfort you. Let us know how you make out at the doctors.Love, Deb, Emmie, and Angel Kelsie

Re: Must be something in the air
Sending lots of Prayers Eve that you are OK,it shakes you up with a fall,I remember at the farm last year on the icy concrete when I went...so far at the moment no falls but at Osteopath with my neck shoulder again muscles etc from First rib to C2 in neck....sooo painful and trying to get inflammation down, one of the drivers at Peters work slipped off the artic lorry and tried to break his fall and broke both wrists!...Big Big Prayers none of us fall again and do let us know how you get on at the doctor's tomorrow and know we are thinking of you....if only we could bounce back up like we used to do!....Much Love and Hugs to you Ed Tillie and Max Love from Annie Andrew and NimbySue with her wings xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
