Andrew Update Vote for this post

I picked Andrew up at 3.30pm and had a good talk with his vet Kate, she showed me the four XRays that were done of his back legs and pelvis,Nothing is really that bad  and she has not heard a heart murmor when checking this morning while I went in with him,We are putting him on Loxicom each day and see how he is  in a months time with it...and really take it a bit at a time to see how he progresses, also he may just be a bit slow if he has got Lazy!...when we got him he was overweight if you remember, and he may possibly never have been made to walk even for exercise and of course when we got him we were taking him as far as Nimby walked which was initially too much for him and he was worn out,he has shorter slower walks now as I was not wanting to force him to walk out if his leg was playing up..even though he is not lame...he has put a wee bit of weight on so need to keep that down, only a wee bit but I guess due to all that wet weather he was not out as much for walks...anyway I am going to try walk him  as such  a bit more and not just let him mooch ...his nose is  always trailing on the ground instead of looking around with interest!LOL,,,he has been zoned out a bit since coming home  and in a land of Laa Laa...bless him,I will update tomorrow  again,Thery had cancelled my Doctor appt to see my X Ray results till next monday!!...but Peter had his tooth out no problems and did not need to cut gum so that was good news, sadly The vet practise managers little dog has gone into kidney failure and is on a drip so Prayers for wee CoCoa,Sarah the manager  has 3 rescue Chihuahua's,I cannot tell you how they were abused its too terrible but the wee cocoa is Eleven and was not wanted as a hubaby took her place......Lots of Love Annie Andrew and Nimby with her wings xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

So glad to hear good news on Andrew! We've been nervously waiting for an update and now I can tell Emmie that her Drew is doing well (even is he is a bit spaced out at the moment! ) Never having a Cairn, I wonder at the differences between them and Westies. Emmie is always sniffing and I tease her about having the attention span of a gnat! Every little sound has her stopping dead in her tracks and just staring in the direction that the sound came from. She has never been one to just happily truck along for a walk. None of my Westies have ever been interested in just walking for the sake of walking. Now, I'm wondering if I have done something wrong and hope others will weigh in on the subject! Praying for equally good results from your x-rays Annie! Give Drew a big kiss from his Emmie and enjoy your evening!
Love, Deb, Emmie, and Angel Kelsie

Will be sending prayers for the little one at the vets office.
