Well tewwier buddies, we had us an earthquake last night! Yes indeedy, da earth moved an I slept through the whole thing! Mind you, it were a long day and in my defense, da electricity were out, so what's a pup ta do but get in a few winkie dinks while she can? I mean, we all needs our beauty sleep--some more dan udders (wink, wink)! Any hoot, Mommy an Daddy were sittin in da livin room readin (by flashlight mind you!) when one of my kitties (who had been lyin in da window) jumped up like his tail were on fire an took off fer da bedroom (Da big scaredy cat hides under da bed at da least liddle noise!) Mommy an Daddy had heard a noise like a great big bird landin in da tree which got Mommy all eggcited, her an her birds! Anyways, dat tree were shakin like crazy an dis mornin, da learned dat we had us a little earthquake! Da center were about 6 miles away from us an most folks probably didn't eben know we had one! Well, I hopes dat are all da eggcitement fer da week cause I'm needin anudder nap!
Lub ta you all, specially my Drew Boy xxxxxxxxxxxxx, your Emmie Sue

Miss Emmie Sue it's so sweet you cuddled with your mommy , being very brave. Those earthquakes can be scary. Only 6 miles from the center must of felt very strong.Glad you are all ok and safe.
In the mid 2000's we moved to Northern Nevada. Only being in our home for one month we had a cluster or swarm as they called them of earthquakes that numbered the highest amount on record for the area. Many small quakes and a few bigger ones. Can't tell you which was worse the jolting ones or the ones that felt like rolling waves both were spooky. Maddie Willie and Emily were very upset with pacing and anxiety for the month of heavy quake activity that I had to get them calming meds.

I hope you don't get any more of them Deb.
Hugs Sandra & Grady

Wow, we don't get them here. We have in the past had very minor tremors but that is it. Thankfully. Sounds as though Andrew weathered the quake well.
