A toy that holds up
Finally found a toy that Grady hasn't been able YET to chew apart, destuff, rip or eat parts. It's been two weeks and it's still holding up.It's a winner for a busy chewer or teething puppy. He also likes to use it to sleep on.

Re: A toy that holds up
Here's Grady laying froggy style with his toy. I love seeing him shake this toy, tossing it and running around the room with it bent in a taco shape. It can sure take his busy chewing.Annie he still loves number 1 his orange gator stuffy. He holds it by the tail and brings back to his crate for the night. It's his favorite!

Biba you are a busy little girl. hehe And what's with the human mums taking away the toys just as we get them opened to taste the insides...yum the best part and then she grabs it... pawty is over.Good that those fleas will be gone ,they can have you doing zoomies and itchy dances. Opsie...you got your mommy's night gown...teehee I got my moms too once but haven't done it again but I just love to pull and chew at her hair, yep a lot.Mom takes it away when I do it and puts it up where I can't reach it ...she's no fun. Terriers and their toys
Yep, we got a very similar "Tuffy" toy for Emmy during her "destroy all toys" puppy phase. The only other toy that survived those needle teeth was a heavy red rubber Kong shaped like a bone.
We should start a new topic here about all the best toys that have survived our terrierists!
Here's a pix of Emmy latched onto that very toy from a few years ago ... and it's still intact!

Re: Terriers toy Face Lift
Ok that picture is hysterical!! Emmy that is what I call getting your teeth into it girlie! The Tuffy toys are really a great toy and so sturdy made that even a cairn in hyper drive can't get it opened. Yes maybe we could open another post sometime with the terriers top pick toys. Here is one of those fire hose toys I got Grady a few weeks ago.He didn't even have it for long before he got the wings unstuffed ,feet and face shredded off of the ole owl.I'm calling it Face Lift by Grady yours truly.

Re: A toy that holds up
Glad to hear you've found something tough Sandra. Izzy chewed the ears, legs and feet off most of their plush toys but thankfully grew out of it. Latex chickens and ducks and the Kong Squeez ball (both squeaks and they scan squeeze it between their jaws) are very popular with my 2.

Re: Diana
Do those balls have a place to put treats inside? Is your girls liking them? Grady has a few balls but he'll only play with them if I do fetch return. He loves to play that. I have to get on the thick gloves or my hands become the target of his teeth. So I am using a soft ring toy that is bigger and I don't have to get on my gloves.Grady has nearly stopped the puppy nips and it's only by excitement that we have a bite or nibble happen.

Re: Diana
They came in a pack of 3, no they are just a ball to play with but I've watched Matilda she is very enamoured with the ball, it's just small enough for her to carry in her mouth and she can squeeze it between her jaws and it also squeaks. She's not very good when it comes to dropping it so I can throw it for her but she loves running around with it. It does unfortunately roll under the couch so she sits there and barks at it, I've become to know that bark means the ball is under the couch. Izzy quite likes the balls too but Matilda gets a little bossy and takes all 3. When I bounce one for Izzy she tries to jump on the ball while it is bouncing with her front paws she looks really funny. Glad to hear Grady is getting past the nipping stage, my first 2 were a challenge but these 2 were pretty good.

Re: Diana
I enjoyed hearing how Matilda and Izzy play with the balls. Like knowing that the size of the balls are small enough for them to hold and a plus to have a little squeak. Grady has a favorite rubber ball but it is not sturdy like the kong ones you got your girls. I will look for some of these. Thanks Diana for sharing your post about them!
