Going to the Vets Tomorrow
Yesterday Mom made me take a bath cause she said I have to go to the Vet lady and have tests and surgery. Now am not sure why I had to get a bath. She says they will be putting something in, taking something off and plucky some things away. None of it sounds like something I am going to like.TC friends keep me in your thoughts and send good wishes my way for tomorrow. Oh and not sure why that duck was invited to my tub but he was.Mom says Mr.Willie would want me to have it there. Hugs Gradyxox

Re: Going to the Vets Tomorrow
Grady was not thrilled with the shower attachment even when it was on a fine mist so I had to use a pitcher and do rinses. He's giving my hubby the look that says get me outta here.Oh such a sad look. He perked right up when he got to do towel rubs and carpet scooters..

Re: All finished now
All blow dried ,nails cut and given lots of cookie treats and he is sitting like a well behaved model....Not. LOL I just got lucky with this picture after several tries. I think he's telling me not to do that again.

Re: Grady is HOME -Update
We brought Grady home at around 5:00 pm. The Vet said he did very well. He got meds to help with discomfort and a cone of shame to wear. He was investigating and trying to lick at his stitches so quickly I got the cone on. Tumor was removed but not happy how much hair was shaved from his leg. But it will grow back. Many of the vet techs wanted to take him home and commented that he was a very good boy through the procedure. Grady is now asleep and looks to be resting well.I'm sure the days ahead he will be a challenge wearing that head cone, getting him to rest and not move around too much. That is a hard task for this little bruiser of a cairn boy.
Hugs Sandra & little recovery patient Grady xox

Re: Going to the Vets Tomorrow
Glad to hear all went well Sandra and young Grady is home safe and sound. Yes thankfully the hair grows back pretty quickly. I remember when Hannah had hip surgery she had all the hair shaved and when it grew back (before she could go back to grooming again) she had this big ridge of hair she looked funny.
The COS is the only thing I've found that works for my girls, I've tried all sort, the inflatable rings look great but not for my determined little lassies.
Get better soon sweet Grady.

Re: Going to the Vets Tomorrow
Wishing you a very speedy recovery Grady. We know how terrible a cone is around your head. Our Mama bought a ring that you blow up when ours needed surgery. Our Moshe used it and Levi too. We hope and pray you recover very soon Grady and we will be checking in to hear more good news.
