Such a handsome little guy! I remember when you first got him & all the questions you had just to make sure you had the best of everything for him. He's had a wonderful life with you. Prayers for you today as you take one of the hardest steps we humans can take and help him cross over the bridge. (( )) (( ))

Thank you Allen for posting the picture for me, so appreciated.
Cooper passed at 12:25PM, he passed at home in my arms, and then I took him to the pet crematorium. He will be cremated with his blanket, his favorite moose toy, and they even cut a lock of my hair to go with him. Hopefully he will be back home where he belongs, in a week.
Thank you all for your kind words. 14.5 years was not long enough for be but I know to be thankful for the time we had.

Oh David, it is so hard to let them go, but know that you did the right thing. Know that his journey to the bridge with swift, where he is meet by all of our furkids who went before him He is now healthy happy running free from pain. You will meet again one day. He will always be in heart, you will never forget him and all that the two of you meant to each other.

Thank you everyone. The house is so very quiet today. I think what I will miss the most is when I would come home. Today I had to leave to fulfill some commitments. When I came home my love Caesar came running out the door, so excited I was home. What was missing was Cooper. He would not run out the door unless he kissed me first, then it was game on.

Cooper is back home, not in the same form but it is still him. I promised him I would be with him till the end and we would always be together, now we are. It just warms my heart to have a piece of him back. There was a lot of emotion in bringing him home as expected, that emotion has now turned to relief. Thank you everyone for your support.
