help advice
Hi guys need some advice on robin, she has been throwing up today, mot of the time it is white or clear foam, sometimes with grass into.
she didn't eat her breakfast this morning and I don't what to give her dinner if her stomach is upset.
I was petting her this morning and her little head was really hot, she throw up and then seem to be okay. I haven't called that vet yet, but I might have to, I hope this isn't the end for her.
thanks for you help

Re: help advice
Sandi,I was wondering if Robin has had a reaction to her rabies shot she had from the vet,I guess she has been eating a bit of grass to make herself sick,in the past ours have done that if they feel unwell or had a reaction from injection ...Lots of positive thoughts and prayers that she starts to feel a bit better ,Hugs and kisses Annie and Gang xxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Re: help advice
Poor baby, her tummy must be upset if she's eating grass. Sometimes, mainly when it's rainy and damp, Emmie will be off her feed an sometimes she throws up yellow phlemy stuff. After she does that, she's usually right as rain. Hope Robin's feeling better now and more like herself!Love, Deb, Emmie, and Angel Kelsie

Re: help advice
When Chester and Minnie had nasty tummy problems, I would give them baby food--the beef or chicken in the small jars. It was bland but it filled them up. There were times that I had to syringe it into their mouths to get them to just at least get something in that stomach and it seemed to settle it down. But it may be a good idea to call the vet and see what they say. Poor little Robin :(( Also, chicken broth is another thing--I have used syringes to do that too. The things we do to try to help these dogs feel better!

Re: help advice
Sandi I'm sorry to hear Robin isn't feeling good and not eating her meals. I have always given small small servings of rice and chicken or beef broth warmed up. Maybe that Rabies shot has got Robin not feeling well and a call to the vet might be helpful. I hope Robin starts to feel better very soon.
Here are some of the signs to look for after a rabies shot.
Reactions include fever, depression, loss of appetite, lethargy and weakness. They usually appear within 1-2 days then disappear.

Re: help advice
We hope she feels better and you find out what to give her to eat so she does not throw up.
