Flying
For those of you the fly with your westie/carin how do you keep them from barking? and do they travel ok? I'm really missing my pups have been without a westie and carin for 2 years now and would love to have another- was going to wait till I retire an a few years but I'm getting puppy fever :) I would need to fly about 4 times a year with it (would love to have 2 again but not yet I guess)

Re: Flying
Last year we had to take an airline to pick up our Cairn puppy Grady. Here's some tips online. Best to make sure your dog is exercised and tired. get him used to the travel crate in advanced. Upon boarding let them potty and get a short walk. Here are two links that gives other suggestions Our puppy did ok on our short 2 hour air trip and 2 hours in the airport. But I wouldn't want to stress him with more air travel again.
