Oh my Drew, I is afraid I neber had one a dem phantom preggies. Well actually, I is glad I didn' seein how wonky it seems ta make you! Mommy says it been a while since my sissie, Angel Kelsie, went through it but she thinks it lasted at least 10 days! (Not da news you wanted ta hear I is sure!) Mommy says Kelsie carried a liddle stuffed hedgehog (named Timmy of all things!) around an kept him close by when she was eatin or gettin a drink. Sometimes poor Timmy would end up in the water dish an Mommy would wring him out, dry him off an gib him right back ta her. Kelsie would make dis little noise when da was goin ta sleep an Mommy thinks she was probably singin him a lullabye! (Mommy can get a bit fanciful I do say!) Any hoot, hang in der and be nice ta bestest Bibs. Dis will all pass an her will be right as rain once more! Meantime, jus humor her and tell her dat I lubs you bof lots an lots! XXXXXXXXX
Take care my Drew, your Emmie Sue (Bibs bestest firiend)

Annie when we got Emily she had just been spayed before we got her from the breeder. She had mothered two litters so when she got a phantom pregnancy it worried us to see her anxiety. She paced and cried through the house, wasn't sleeping much or eating very well. She was doing the nesting and would walk around with a small toy in her mouth all the time and crying as well.
We took her to the Vet but it's been a long time ago and can't remember what the medication the Vet gave us.
I gave Emily lots of cuddling, warm towels to lay on. and kept the house quiet as much as I could. The only way to bring down her pacing and crying was to cradle her in my arms and softly talk to her.Leaving her crate door open with a blanket over top to darken it, she took many visits inside throughout the day but rarely sleeping for very long.
Her symptoms lasted about 2 months.

Here is a page I found online that gives some helpful info.

Annie maybe your Vet can help with something to settle Biba. Sweet girl, It's heartbreaking to see them go through this. Your reassurance and snuggles will really help her through. Sending gentle hugs to Miss Bibs....((hugs))
