Couldn't stand up
This morning I was busy doing laundry and getting the bedrooms vacuumed before the heat of the day set in. Each time I walked through the kitchen Grady was laying flat on his side with a wide eyed look but not getting up to greet me with a happy dance like he normally does. Just thought he was enjoying a rest so didn't think any thing of it.Once I got all my house clean up finished 20 minutes later,Grady is still in the same spot laid out on the area rug by the table. I sat in the living room and called for Grady to come. He did an odd movement that looked like he was unable to stand.I get up in a worry thinking something was wrong with his legs. As I look closer it seems that his belly band Velcro had him pinned to the rug and he couldn't break free.I felt bad that happened. I undid his belly band from the rug and Grady bounced right up like a bull bucking his back legs and did a whirlwind frill race through the house. He comes back looking at me like "what took you so long" and nipped at my hand.Giving me his cairntude feedback.
All is ok with Grady's legs but his dignity was a little scared..LOL Note to self..make sure that velcro is completely covered so it doesn't stick to rugs. Hugs Sandra & Free Master Grady xox

Oh my stars, when I read this, I laughed till I cried! Still chuckling, but I'm sure it wasn't a laughing matter for poor Master Grady! Can't wait to hear what his girl has to say about this incident! LOLLove, Deb, Emmie, and Angel Kelsie

Re: Couldn't stand up
LOL I know it was a comical accident. I sure didn't let Grady see me laughing. He doesn't like restraint and this ticked him off . He likes freedom to run and when that is cut off he can have a tantrum. Lucky today so far he is only having a minor rebellion protest. The belly band is off and in the closet...Grady made sure it wasn't coming back out.

Re: Couldn't stand up
Oh Grady I can just see you laying there. stuck to the floor. I am laughing at the thought of you trying to get up, (not funny if you really couldn't)
I bet you really told your mom off. Hope it doesn't happen again.

Re: Couldn't stand up
I shouldn't laugh but I could imagine it is something that could happen with either of my 2.

Re: Couldn't stand up
Sandra,I can just picture that scene and I know just how Grady would have been all free and kicking and bucking in the air...and also those tantrums...Biba will have them for sure at times...also if you catch her being naughty and tell her off she gets the zoomies when she thinks she has got away with things...and then tries to bite ankles in a sort of fun way but I stop her doing that....The Cairntude is a real endearing but sometimes wild attitude I have to say!!LOL...Hugs and kisses Annie Bibs and Drew xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
