Re: Happier when together
What precious GOOD girls they are!!! Look how nice they sit there even for a picture let alone for a bath or foot wash. Grady is a pacer...he paces from one end of the bath tub to the other and doesn't sit still. Meanwhile the whole time I wash him he is pawing me to get out of the tub and giving me the shake shower. Good thing I have a plastic apron now...I'm saying drier.LOLLove seeing your darlings in their bubble tubs. Cute cute!! POW!!

Re: Happier when together
Started typing a response then the girls barked the Postman was @ the door. I said to him it's Saturday!
Izzy will pace the bath if she is loose but I've taken to bathing them together as it seems to be of some comfort to Matilda. The extra long non slip bath mat certainly helps. They have a heap of bath toys but don't show a lot of interest in them. When I've finished rinsing them off I put on their dog robes which soak up quite a bit of the water and a couple of towels and carry them one by one out onto the grooming table where they have a roll on the towels while I sit and wait for them to be ready to be dried. That can take a little bit of time. LOL. I keep them both on the table till they are dry and it depends on which one is the most co-operative that one gets finished off first and gets down on the floor to play. Izabella is not fond of her nails being touched (I use a Dremel now) or her face but we get there in the end. Matilda is not overly fond of the drying process or her nails. Then of course they run to the pantry cupboard as they know it's treat time. Little monkeys!
