Matilda dislikes: people walking past the fence, birds sitting on the fence, nails cut (I use the Dremel now), sitting still unless snoozing, their hairdryer.

Izabella likes: FOOD, walks, playing, chasing Matilda, car rides, latex chickens and ducks.

Izabella dislikes: Matilda stalking her unless she is in the mood to play, baths, their dryer, nails cut (use dremel), people walking past the fence, birds sitting on the fence.

Both Matilda & Izabella love to kill flies (no need for flyspray in this house) it's the funniest thing to watch they don't stop if one manages to get inside until it is dead on the floor. I always scoop it up in case they try to eat it.

Top 3 dislikes

1 Fear and dislike of nail clipping  

2 Strip grooming- but Grady likes to be combed and brushed

3 the big dog that charges out the door barking and pounces on our back fence. It greatly disturbs Grady and gets his hackles up sending him into a bark fest.

2  Chew time in the evenings with his favorite treat stick

3  Giving his daddy lovingly cheek kisses-first thing in the morning -Every morning

Mischief LOVED food but not DOG food! Don't you dare ever call her a d-o-g! SHE was a superior species of being, better and bigger than even the two leggers who are merely servants to her royal majesty. 

She did not love when supper was not forthcoming at 5 on the dot and let us no in no uncertain terms that she demanded supper NOW!

Her favorite person on earth was Daddy. She also loved children (us but mostly my little cousins. They had sticky faces, tasted like candy and were portable treat dispensers). Mischief and Daddy had a conversation every night when he came home from work. She recognized the sound of his car and would jump up and wait for him by the door. He would greet her by saying "Daddy's home! Daddy's home for you! Where you been Daddy? Speak to Daddy! Say Arrooo!" and she would reply with a long "arooo!" as in "Where the heck were you? I missed you! You were gone FOR-EV-ER! They don't feed me the right food around here unless you're home!"

She also loved barking to announce she was on yard patrol. She was queen of the neighborhood. She loved digging up the yard and digging under the fence. She loved snowy days when the yard was covered in snow and sunny days when she could nap in the sun or dig a hole in the dirt and nap in the cool dirt. (She once got stuck under the deck and my dad had to pry up some boards to get her out).

She did not love squirrels, skunks or chipmunks. She always remembered my grandparents had chipmunks in their wood pile and every year when we visited, she made a beeline for the woodpile. The chippies always got away.

Like you she hated the vet and the groomer. She also hated loud noises like thunder and cars backfiring. 

She loved squeaky toys but not the squeaker. She always ate those out. She also loved tennis balls and playing keepaway. She loved playing tennis ball chase on the beach in the water with Daddy. 

How do you all feel about routine? Mischief was very routine-oriented. She wouldn't walk on a leash unless she was with Daddy or going the same way Daddy always took her. SOMEONE who shall remain nameless was a silly teenager and tried to use the cute little dog as an excuse to walk around the neighborhood and stalk cute boys.  Mischief was not cooperative. She did not love when I went away to college. Boy was she mad when I came home! She would give me the cold shoulder for a day before she let me cuddle her again.

Do all terriers love belly rubs and ear skritches? They were Mischief's favorite. She liked me best because I always have long finger nails. She loved my friends who thought she was cute and didn't want to stop rubbing her belly.  She did not like it when her human slaves stopped rubbing her belly.

I think Miss Biba is shaping up nicely and will soon become a true Carin Queen like Ellie and Nimby before her. Watch out Andrew LOL! 

I met a Cairn in the park at the farmer's market yesterday. She is 9 already and has two small children to run around with. I was excited because I haven't seen ANY Cairns or Westies since we moved here and especially not since everything shut down and more people are out walking their dogs in the neighborhood instead of the walking path and park. 

                        Kitty Cat toy which he jumped up on the bed and took.  It was going                         to be Biba's Kitty Stig's Christmas present .  Mummy had to                                       go to the store and buy another one for Stig.
