Boo Hoo I do not like the motor car as much so Vote for this post

Boo Hoo...since I hads my trips to the vetties for my opewation and then the check ups I do not like...or I am wary of getting in the motor car cos I fink I going back thar agains so mummy and Daddy taking me and Drew oot lots in the motor car for likkle walkies to get ris of my fears of finking I off to vetties agains...and the uvver fing that happened is a man who is in his 70's up the lane from us has got a new doggie....I let mummy explain now....
The gentleman in question lives on the estate just up the lane...he sadly lost his little dog 4 weeks ago and has got a rescue ...A Staffordshire terrier!!...I am so cross about it as he had found out somehow from previous owner that it is aggressive to other dogs,,,and on Sunday I got back in the afternoon from work.Peter was here and  the staffie was running loose in the lane ...the man had let it off in the garden and it had got out!!...watch this space but I am not walking the dogs unless I take them in the car out of the way to walk as will not take the risk of having both mine on leads and that coming loose towards us...certainly not after the attack that time with Andrew and those Staffie
X  dogs...Lucky I can take them 2 mins in car into the spare walled garden ...Peter has put higher fencing on gate also to our garden...I cannot believe the rescue centre would match that type of dog with a man who does not walk far at all and would certainly never be able to hold it...I have spoken with the estate and told them this is an accident is waiting to happen..there are a lot of dog walkers around here and some do have them off leads in the woods so it remains to be seen as the man says he takes the staffie into the woods!!...we do not intend to be victims this time...sadly I fear it will be  another dog or person...The other thing I cannot believe is why on earth when he found out it was aggressive to other dogs did he not refuse it ...sorry for venting but I still remember Andrews attack...Annie x
Well thars my mummy venting but on a plus side Drew and me get  loads more diffewant walkies and daddy off again a few days next week while the motor car gets its vettie visit....er I mean Gawage visit!!...we hads a nice day today and beens in the garden lots as well but rainman tomowwow they say......

I don't blame your mom for being upset. To me staffordshires is one  of the nasty breeds.  I don't understand why people have them and never have them on leashes and it is the small dogs that pay for it.

I wish they would put a ban on them.   I don't know how a rescue group would match that kind of dog with an older person, that can't control it.

I don't blame you for not wanting to walk them,  I would be very much afraid to also.

Hope you can resolve the problem.

Bibs and andrew, please stay safe and away from that dog.

Sorry to hear about you new neighbor's dog.

Sounds like the rescue group dumped it off on the man.

At our new location there are two staffies on our block.

I will be carrying my mace.

Good luck and be safe.

I'm sorry to read your post Annie. Awwww... I remember that attack poor Andrew had from a Staffie. What an inconvenience to have to take Drew and Biba in the car for a walk in the garden. It's a worry that the man lets the dog off leash to roam the lane.
Shocking too that the rescue would let an old gentleman have such an active aggressive breed as a Staffordshire terrier.

We have that pitbull at our back fence and it worries me. Grady has struggled with some anxiety because the dog aggressively pounces and  barks. So this spring we put up a second fence as high as city law would allow and we built an enclosure on our side yard with a patio and grass for Grady to have his own space away from that fence. We never take our eyes off him. He never goes outside with out us.
