Sandi and Presley, thanks so much for asking about Emmie. She's doing pretty good--on antibiotics and pain meds that make her sleepy and she doesn't want us trying to look at her bottom (the vet told us this is very painful). She's still draining but the vet said she would be for 3 or 4 days anyway and we're not allowed to try and clean her up till then. She smells funny and the cats keep sneaking up when she's sleeping, taking a whiff and running away! LOL When she starts barking at everything that passes by the house we'll know she's getting better! Funny how you try to make them be quiet when they're barking at the wind but when they're not barking, you miss hearing it....Take care and again, thanks for asking about Emmie! So nice to see your update. Awwww...that is so true Deb. Just want to hear that bark to know she is starting to feel better. Sweet baby...hope she is feeling much better very soon. Had me laughing at the reaction the kitty gives Emmie Sue.LOL :-)Sending EmmieSue snuggles..xox
