around 4:30 I start my routine. I find mom and follow her around the house, till  she notices me, then I give  her the I am starving look.

for dinner, I get dry, food ( blue buffalo grain free chicken, small bites) mixed with natures recipe chicken and turkey, or chicken and salmon),  sometimes about once or twice a week, a get a topper with my kibble, (whole dog, chicken or beef with gravy),    after dinner, I go outside to do my chores, then I take a nap,  before bed time.

I do watch mom when she is fixing her dinner and wait for something to drop. there is no 2 second rule in our house. LOL.

Hello bestest! As soon as Mommy goes into da kitchen ta start supper (we also eats at 4pm) I go out an usually end up gettin under foot so she sends me in to da libingroom wif Daddy. Her used ta feed me a bit early but den when da sit down ta eat, I'd beg fer anudder supper so her put a stop to dat (drat her!) Now, eberybody gets fed da same time, eben my kitties. Da eats up off da floor or I'd be taken my chances at tryin ta steal der food! Mommy says her weren't born yesterday (as if we didn't know dat! Hee!Hee!) an her takes tempation outta my way (her words, not mine!) Afer supper, Daddy takes me fer a long walkie before it gets dark, den we settle in fer awhile. 9pm, we gets a tweat, den at 10, we is ready fer bed. I usually play "chase da duck" before dat till I wears myself out!

Mom here, should have mentioned that Emmie eats Nutro Wholesome Essentials Farm Raised Chicken, Brown Rice & Sweet Potato Recipe with a bit of chicken on top. Of course, if she gets the chance, she'll scarf up kitty treats or anything else she shouldn't have so we watch her like a hawk!

These are all familiar stories of the dog mealtime count down. All our terriers had an amazing way of knowing breakfast and dinner time down to the minutes. Having the seasonal (roll the clocks back) is the hardest on them as they seem to not want to go on the daylight savings time clock .

Grady being I think our most vocal pitiful whiner wins the award for most convincing starving dog act. The pacing starts, if I ignore he will jump on my lap front paws on my chest with low whimpers that get louder and longer. if that doesn't work he'll start kissing me. He'll stomp his paws and wiggle on my lap to motion for me to - GET UP!
The word- LATER is an insult and he is soon racing the room with barking and proceeding to the kitchen on a zoomfest looking up to where his bowl is kept. All this starting an hour before dinner time. Yep a whole hour of plotting and playing out  his demands. Little stinker. LOL
He gets a heaping 1/4 cup of kibble sometimes adding various extras from yogurt, veggies and salmon.
Forget about us humans eating breakfast OR dinner before him...No WAY.

Hugs Sandra & Master Grady
