Prayers Please! Vote for this post

If you could spare a prayer or two, my 92 year old Dad tested positive for COVID-19 yesterday. He lives in a nursing home near us and a lot of the residents tested positive yesterday as did some of the staff--including my niece who is a nurse there. The very sad thing is that I can't even go in and see him. So far, he's holding his own so that's a comfort. The facility is so short on staff right now that the nurses who are positive but not showing many signs are being asked to keep working. I am so sick of this virus...Vaccine or no, we're in for a very painful winter. Stay safe everyone and please, wear a mask and social distance.
Love, Deb, Emmie, and Angel Kelsie

Sending Big Prayers for your Dad Deb..I can only imagine how you must be feeling...take hope from my Sister in Laws Mum who tested positive at 97 and then 2 days later negative...not being able to see him  also...My Heart goes out to you....we will send prayers daily for him to pull through and not have any symptoms which will worsen...my routine when I go out is vaseline on outer nostrils and lips and mask and keep sanitizing hands ...I wear disposable gloves in the local supermarket also...and do not go near groups of people......
Big Hugs to you and  ones for your dad also...Annie Biba and Andrew xxxxxxxxx

Oh Deb, of course we will send prayers for your dad.  I am so sorry, it is so hard not to be able to see your family with this COVID-19,,

I had a cousin in an assisted  living facility, whos roommate tested positive for COVID 19,.  My cousin contracted it and passed away  from  it.  We couldn't have a funeral because of it.  It was very sad.   I learned a few months ago  the his wife, also had covid, but she is now recovering in a re hehab center

my heart goes out to all of the people and families who have had to deal with this virus, I am so glad that a vaccine is now avaliable.

God bless you and your family

Deb I am so sorry to learn your Dad tested positive to the Covid-19. We send prayers and hope he can recover from the virus. So awful that they are so short handed that they are keeping infected staff assisting.
I wear a mask and distance but sadly I don't see all people complying with the rules. I'll keep your father in my thoughts and hope for a promising update on his recovery.

Hugs Sandra & Master Grady xox

Your dad is in my thoughts! I live in dread of that happening to my grandmother. Her nursing home was great in the spring and hardly had any cases. Now it's spreading fast. Lots of staff are getting sick and it just makes me mad that they can't be more careful. The vaccine arrived in state yesterday but... there's apparently a 2-3 week delay for nursing homes- in spite of a promise - because of some delay with permission slips! My mom is NOT happy. My grandmother has Alzheimer's and has no idea where she is, why or why she can't see my mom. I hope your dad recovers well and they get the vaccine soon.
