coldest night ever
hi its me presley, mom just heard on the weather that it is suppose to be -25. Yikes.
mom here, the weather man, say that it is the coldest it has been in over 25 years.
We also could expect possible rolling black outs, which is something we have never had in nebraska, I am born and raised here, and I have never seen anything like this before. It is suppose to be in the 30's later in the week, (man that is a heat wave), we really need to melt some of this snow, but it is going to take a while with over 25 inches.'
Poor little presley, doesn't want to go out (and who could blame him), I am hoping that the power doesn't go out, with him being 12, I really worry about him, Guess I will try to put a coat on him, and he isn't been groomed later, that wooly coat might keep him warm.
take care all and stay warm sandi and presley, buster and robin at the bridge

Re: coldest night ever
Sandi and Presley, stay warm and safe out there! This has been the most bizarre weather and so dangerous....We've been getting back to back snow/ice storms and right now, it's raining and 30*. Thank heavens we aren't getting the extreme temps you're getting but the ice scares me to death.Like you, I just pray that the power stays on. Keeping you and Presley in my prayers and hope for a break in the weather for all of us! Take care and stay safe!Love, Deb, Emmie, and Angel Kelsie

Re: coldest night ever
It is truly brutal out here! Sandi, we'll have about the same temps here as you. It's just awful! We were called by the power company today and told the same about the rolling blackouts. We have our small generator ready if we need to use it. The kids around us are all out of school for tomorrow too.
Chloe has been so good about going out and getting things done fast. We've been taking her out only 3 times/day right now. She's does okay on this schedule but when it warms up, we'll take her out more. We just don't want be out that much. I bet Presley will love the warm coat! Stay safe out there! I am just glad we aren't getting any more snow!

Re: coldest night ever
Sandi , I hope these storms past quickly and that your temps warm up soon. Worried for you and Presley and all the people that have to go through these rolling blackouts in these extreme low temperatures. My son called me in worry yesterday. He lives in Texas and had no heat, no lights and it was -11 degrees. They opened up warming locations but their Governor informs people not to be on the roads because of the hazardous conditions. So it's a risk just getting to them. Can only pray that power is restored quickly for all in these hard freezing states. Our thoughts are with you Sandi and Presley.
Hugs Sandra & Master Gradyxox
